Just a quick query or am I being dim (again)

I’ve received the daily email for years and have always just opened it and read it without problems, navigating through the options as and when needed, usually just ‘last hour’ or ‘last day’.
Until today, that is, when I opened it as usual but then wanted to go back to yesterdays Good Morning thread and was told I needed to sign in to read it. I could access the ‘Active’ thread with no problem. Hopefully it’s just a temporary glitch?

Earlier I had similar problems. I too had to sign in. I was unable to add messages as the box didn't come up* and I was unable to track threads I had commented on.

*Probably a welcome relief to some GNs.

Yes, Indigo8 seems okay today. Just Gransnet keeping me on my toes!

Why bother with opening through an email just keep an icon on your Home Screen and you just automatically open it whenever you want

I've never had the email. I always access GN through Chrome. No problem.
