Good morning all from the Black country where it is trying to rain although not predicted.
Housework and a trip to Iceland for a few bits freezer looking a little empty and its 10% discount day.
Safe journey for your DH Ash.
Hope your eye check goes well GM, and things go smoothly for your surgery Susan.
Enjoy your day everyone whatever your plans and may you all find some ☀️.

Good Morning from Durham. Still grey, but expected to brighten up later. I’m off to start my LPoAs this morning, then collect my friend after her first cataract procedure at a clinic about 20 minutes away.
I applied online for my passport on Thursday and it’s being delivered this afternoon FGT, I hope yours arrives too.
Good luck for your surgery Susan.

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders where it's mild but overcast.

I felt a cold coming on yesterday and it's no better today. Bother!

Chiropractor this morning followed by an auctioneer valuer to tell me if he can sell my precious antiques
piles of junk. I hope he might think some of DHs lifetime collections are worth something to somebody and I don't want to move with them.

Last Gaelic class tonight but I may miss that. We're suppose to perform a party piece. 😲

Hope all goes well for Susan and gMattie today. 💐

Roses You are doing so well with Tiddler.🫠 ... and you Redcar! with your mobility.

At least the dentist is over now, Sallyforth but shame it's so expensive.

I hope for a happy, painfree day for
everyone.

Good morning all and it’s sunny and bright here in Essex.

Had a fabulous weekend with my pals. It was a Warners at Studley Castle in Warwickshire. Everything top notch! Entertainment amazing.
A tiring rail journey home with cancelled trains, my friend leaving a bag on a platform (we got it back). 🙏. So many steps and long walks between trains , but lots of lovely men jumping in to help with cases. 🌟. Very friendly people everywhere - it reminds us that the world can be a kind place.

Best wishes for your surgery Susan

Enjoy the day 🌱

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Damp at the moment in South Yorkshire. I just wanted to sleep on this morning. I have to put some fuel in my car later but, apart from that, nothing much doing until this afternoon when I have a volunteer session at school.
Safe travels to OD, Ash.
Have the best day you can folks.

Good morning from a bright W Kent. We are not sure if the builders are coming but have decided to go and look for our DIL’s 50th birthday present, so a trip out.
Hope your surgery goes well Susan
Surely todays the day FGT
Best wishes

harrigran Tue 25-Mar-25 07:39:52

Good morning from a mild NE where we are promised 14 degrees today.
It was sunny and dry yesterday so I spent some time in the garden spraying weeds.
Hairdresser is coming this morning then I will do some admin.
Have a good day.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Tue 25-Mar-25 07:38:28

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s wet but mild. Our passports are supposedly being delivered today and once they arrive (!) we will book flights to Málaga. There’s a Jet2 one leaving tomorrow morning that’ll do nicely. Wall to wall sunshine is forecast while we are there - super trooper!

Kalu Tue 25-Mar-25 07:31:47

Good morning all. A warm, sunny and dry day is forecast for Glasgow today.

A FaceTime catch up this morning with both DDs.DD2 in Australia is experiencing unseasonal torrential rain, as much as a years worth in one day is predicted. Thank goodness they moved to a higher area away from an area which will have severe flooding issues. Other than that with a pleasant sunny day ahead I will spend time in the garden.

Hoping surgery goes smoothly for you Susan. Also, your eye checkup GM. FGT, passports arrive today hopefully.

Best wishes to all for a smooth trouble free day.

brook2704 Tue 25-Mar-25 07:25:40

Good morning everfrom Inverness where we’ve light grey clouds, it might brighten up later
Hoping all goes well today Susan
Safe journey to your DH Ash good to hear he’s back soon
Today I’m doing a couple of classes at the gym and then back home for a bit of housework, or gardening if it stays dry
Well done with the exercise redcar
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Redcar Tue 25-Mar-25 07:12:16

Good morning everyone from mid Essex, where it’s chilly and sunny at the moment. Not sure how long the sun will last.
Yesterday I went into town and did some shopping, used the rollator as it’s almost impossible to carry anything when using two walking sticks. In the afternoon I collected my meds from the pharmacy, walked again but used the sticks. My legs ached with the extra exercise but I was pleased with myself for doing it.
I’ll walk again this morning then visit my friend with dementia this afternoon.
I hope your eye check goes well today grandmattie.
susan I hope your surgery also goes well and that you are home this evening.
fgt fingers crossed your passports arrive today!
Have a good day everyone.

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 25-Mar-25 07:01:13

Morning all from West Oxfordshire.

I need to have my signature witnessed today. I will ask my neighbour as she’s done this before - and I’ve witnessed hers.

I am seeing other friends this afternoon.

It is my turn to cook dinner - maybe chicken curry?

I was pleased to get feee tickets for the summer Exhibition Buyers’s Day in June. I will go with younger son. It’s a thing we do every year but I usually pay. But, last year I bought a print so was automatically put on the free tickets list.

Have a good day everyone. I hope those passports arrive FGT2!

Morning Mick, morning All from a gloomy looking corner of Somerset.

Yesterdays good news was Mr C can hear again! I’m so pleased as he missed out on such a lot, it’s also such a relief not to have to raise my voice all the time. Toilet flush sorted too. A positive outcome day.

Grocery delivery, dust removal and a trip to a distant surgery for my physio appointment today. Not exciting, all necessary.

Safe journey to your husband ash, go carefully. Good wishes for your surgery susan and a hope for a positive eye appointment grandmattie.

Have the best day you can everyone.

kittylester Tue 25-Mar-25 06:49:37

Good morning all from a wet North Leicestershire.

DH has a volunteer drive first thing and our lovely gardener is coming for the first time since the autumn.

This afternoon we are taking 3 dgc to the dentist - wish us luck

Have the best day possible everyone.

RosieandherMaw Tue 25-Mar-25 06:44:50

Good morning from N Bucks and another promising morning- blue skies and sunshine and a little wispy cloud.
The gardener is due today - I thought he was due yesterday but checking his email, I’d got the day wrong , he is very reliable.
Other than that I need to go to MK shopping centre to return some White Stuff I’d bought online which is too big, their sizing is odd, I can sometimes order any one of three sizes and it’s pot luck what fits. But I hate changing rooms in shops even more!
Fingers crossed for the passports FGT , good luck Susan56 for your procedure 🍀 and a pleasant event-free day to all 💐

Grandmabatty Tue 25-Mar-25 06:41:14

GrandMattie best wishes for your eye check up too.

karmalady Tue 25-Mar-25 06:26:41

Good morning from s somerset, spring-like day today, sun but cool

Nothing planned for today but I am expecting a delivery, could be anytime. Meanwhile I suppose I will just potter around and find a loose pattern for some cool drapey material that I want to sew for an allotment top. It has to be comfy and cover-all. I have the fabric so could prep for that today

Have a good day

GrannyGravy13 Tue 25-Mar-25 06:19:16

Morning everyone, not sure what the weather forecast is, but I am home until school pick up and then swimming lessons.

I need to do some handwashing, most of DH’s sweaters are hand wash only, along with my cashmere ones. It’s a job that I am not a fan of.

Safe journey to your DH, Ashcombe

Hope your eye check up is ok grandMattie 👍🏻

Wishing you all a good day 🙋‍♀️

Grandmabatty Tue 25-Mar-25 06:18:21

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 10° and dry. Susan all the best for your surgery. I hope it goes well.
Yesterday was a decent day. I dropped off the boys then worked in the school library for a few hours. Home, after an Aldi visit then I had a nap.
Today I'll visit this morning, after school drop off. I had a particularly bad night last night. No reason, just wakefulness. Have a good day all.

Sallyforth Tue 25-Mar-25 06:14:46

Good morning Mick and everyone from a dark and very wet Cheshire. Been awake since 2.30, so having a second breakfast.

Yesterday's trip to the dentist for a new crown was traumatic. I'd been anxious about the temporary crown falling out, but he couldn't get it out and what a palaver that was. I'm not the bravest patient. I was drenched in perspiration and my arched back ached, at a cost of £460!

The gardener will come today to do jobs I can't do. The rain will make it easier to take out some shrubs I want moved or disposed of. Pots cleared too and ready for summer planting.

Fingers crossed all goes well with your check-ups grandMattie and Susan56

Wishing all a good day with special wishes to those with worries or pain. flowers

GrannyGravy13 Tue 25-Mar-25 06:14:08

Susan56 I hope all goes smoothly with your surgery 🌸

Bellasnana Tue 25-Mar-25 06:12:14

Good morning from a gloomy, wet Malta where we are promised rain all week. Sorry for Pantglas who is visiting the island and missing the good weather we’ve had.

I’m already with the boys. It will be a day indoors due to the weather then home later to watch tennis from Miami.

Wishing a good day to all ☀️

Susan56 Tue 25-Mar-25 06:06:32

Good morning from North Wales.A dull start to the day.

I am having a quiet few minutes before the mayhem starts. We will drop the children at school then DH will walk the dog and then we will drive to the clinic where I am having my surgery.I hope to be home tonight but have an overnight bag packed as instructed.

Safe journey back to France to olddudders.

Both my DD’s adopted dogs last year who had been kept for breeding and not walked. Not quite as old as tiddler at three and four years old. They soon got used to their new way of life.

Have a good day everyone🌻

RosesandLilac Tue 25-Mar-25 05:56:46

Good morning from south Glos, it’s dry and cloudy here.
Yesterday after the trip to the vets for tiddler I walked her in the parkland. She met peacocks, swans and geese and totally ignored them all.
Nothing much besides dog walking today, I need to vacuum through and do the usual cleaning and tidying.
I’m getting into a routine now with the two dogs, I can’t walk them together yet because tiddler is getting used to the lead; it’ll take time after never being walked at all for 8 years! She’s doing so well, bless her 🥰
Hope today goes well for everyone 🌹

Ashcombe Tue 25-Mar-25 05:56:42

Good morning from a cloudy Torbay.

Yesterday became quite warm and we managed a short walk, including time on a bench in the nearby park. An early start today as DH needs taking to Newton Abbot as he’s going home for a couple of weeks but back in early April. He’s been a wonderful support to me throughout.

A good day to you all. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩
