Bit of a stressful day here with more to come, practical not medical so not so bad really. Should be out of the woods by Monday she says hopefully. I suspect the next couple of days will feel like running up a sand hill, I’ll almost get to the top then come sliding down.

Good to hear you’re being cared for Granmarie, that was a shock to your system. Hope it settles soon. Be careful, please.

After a cold morning the sun is shining.We have been sorting our patio out for the summer,let’s hope we can soon sit out.
DGS1 and DS3 are studying very hard for A levels and GSCE,that last final push.The house is very quiet so son and Dil are making the most of it.

It’s been another sunny day here and we have been out with the wheelchair again. Tomorrow the railway museum are running an historic engine, will try to get a photo.

Cloudy here until about 4, I’ve just watered plants put in yesterday, that looks so peaceful Yia 🙂
It’s been a ‘bitty’ day, sowed some seeds, weeded the small strip in our local, MrJ jet washed the patio there.
We expected my daughter earlier for a visit, she’s been delayed, she may call in - or not!
I didn’t do the tedious things - phone EE and Sky, procrastination is my middle name.
We’ve been out for Friday night pub catch up, good to see folk and have a chat.

‘Evening All’.

Date night was lovely. The newly opened bar that I especially like next door but three on ground level was rammed. They tried to work out if a table for drinks could be made available but no dice. I said “never mind we will see you next week sometime”.
“Sorry madam”
“Gosh don’t be sorry - it’s wonderful to see you are so busy!”.
Smiles all round.

We went to the Irish themed pub on the railway station platform. That was buzzing too - but we did get a table!

Curry night was at an old favourite up the road. As we strolled I said “we haven’t been here since before your diagnosis”. It had dropped off our radar. Busy, Friday night. Did we want to go upstairs? “No thank you we will come back another evening”…. Then a couple by the window asked for their bill. Perfect timing!

It was delicious so it’s now on ‘rotation’ with the two other curry houses we like. 😊

Cloudy most of the day here with a chilly breeze, but I got two machine loads of washing dry enough to iron.
Tried to collect my meds from the pharmacy, had to wait while they looked for the script, then dispensed the meds. One missing so I have to go again on Monday (or Tuesday). Fortunately I hadn’t run out of anything.

Bingo in the village hall this evening, most of our table won a little cash, but two of us didn’t. It didn’t spoil the enjoyment of the evening though.

Hello kitchen people.

I’m in bed already. I have taken two panadol as I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday while reaching for something off the coffee table. It is quite sore. I still managed to get to an interesting Art Society lecture though.

I had better be fit tomorrow. It is my birthday and I am going to a day-long workshop on mosaic making. I have been looking forward to it. In the evening we are going out for dinner.

Sleep 💤 tight.

I enjoyed the lecture too. He was a very engaging speaker wasn't he.

Redcar we really enjoyed our day in Greenwich, I thought of you being at school there. We thought all the buildings along the Thames were so interesting, a mix of very old sitting side by side next to ultra modern glass fronted buildings - so many different styles to see and it all looked very different from the water. I think I fancy doing a river cruise somewhere now - will see!
The DGSs here are both up having breakfast, I’m having 10 mins peace before the day starts, will try to come back here later but if not I hope everyone has a the best day they can, take care all x

Last night my brother and sister in law came with fish suppers! Very tasty!
Today DS3 brought me lunch and helped around the house. I'm very thankful. 🥰

It’s turned dull here now, but still pleasantly warm. We have been out with the wheelchair again, for the 4th day running, I am loving being out in the fresh air and feeling the sunshine on my skin. We headed home just in time to see a train full of children, excitedly waving. Of course I waved back, I always do!

A pleasure to read your post Grannmarie , fish supper would’ve been a good choice here, I took my eye off the chicken thighs on the hob, MrJ said ‘very tasty’!!
Newspaper and potting on day, all a rush now, fervently hoping for no frost now.
