Good morning from s somerset, sunny all day today

All jobs accomplished yesterday, including making 2 large Cranks wholemeal loaves, which I often made since the early 70s.

I totally messed up the ingredients for my cashew and celery soup, what was I thinking. I used 350g of cashews instead of 75g. It did not burn and was very thick, smelt like a lovely chicken soup. Waste not want not and I now have concentrated soup ingredients in the freezer, also can be used with pasta. Alls well that ended well and it did taste very nice

More outside doings today, perhaps the allotment but certainly I will be in the sun, maybe on my bike, whatever I feel like. Some years, this early sun is our summer, to be grabbed with both my hands while it lasts

Have a good day

Good morning from a chilly Torbay, due to the wind.

Yesterday, I went along to Move It Or Lose It and it was good to be back despite not being able to stand for the routines. At the end I panicked when I couldn’t find my car (and flat) keys. Checked handbag and pockets but to no avail. In my excitement at being back, I had left them in the ignition! Phew! Luckily, my car was parked in the car park adjoining the church hall where we exercise.
I hope to attend Props at our theatre this morning.

My love and condolences, Grandmabatty 💐 on your loss.

Yes, here’s the link for tell us once:-

You will probably find your late mother's bank will need contacting too. I hope your brother will be supportive and share the administrative load.

Thoughts with those who are sad or unwell. 🦩💐✝️💐🦩

Good morning from Malta where the forecast is for thundery showers and a high of 17°C.

Dear Grandmabatty, my heartfelt condolences to you on the loss of your mum. What sad news this morning 😞

I’m at DD3’s waiting for the boys to waken. This hour moving forward has really mucked up their routine.

I had a lovely day yesterday meeting up with friends who are over here on holiday. Really cheered me up to see them.

Wishing you all the best day possible.☀️

I’m so sad, Grandmabatty. 💐 🫂
There is a website called “tell us once” which is very helpful.

Good morning from Bristol. We are all enjoying this gorgeous weather, it lifts your spirits.
Finally, had permission to have my eyes tested, now done, a big hole in my bank balance. Wonderfully, despite my complicated prescription, it’ll take only about week for new ones, instead of the 2-3 weeks it used to.
Not much to do today. I shall go to have my phone seen to, re. New SIM card and contract. DD can do it but she won’t be available until after Easter.
Baking for the FAB cafe tomorrow later, and Lent prayers this evening.
Enjoy the glorious weather while it lasts. Gentle hugs to those who need it. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 4° and dry.
I've been awake for a couple of hours. The care home phoned to say mum died peacefully in her sleep. I will, no doubt, be busy with arrangements and calling people. I tried to contact my brother but he's switched off his phone. Have a good day all
