Meghan’s April Fool?

From The Tines this morning
Imagine if I told you I was giving you something “in keepsake packaging that you can repurpose to tuck away love notes or special treasures, and to remember this pivotal moment with me”. You would look at me strangely and ask if I should perhaps seek specialist medical help, and you would be right. And if I then told you that this keepsake packaging could be used as a “small bud vase for flowers on your nightstand or to hold pens on your desk”, could you guess what it was ?
A vintage piece of pretty china, say? Big reveal: it's a jam jar^

Whouda thunk?
Using an old jam jar for pencils? (Who uses pencils?)
Personally I put mine through the dishwasher and re use them for the next batch of raspberry jam -sorry, spread

Andrew has never given interviews criticising his family, never written a book attacking his family.

I. Am sure it will all end in success for Harry,

I do feel very sorry for Prince Harry over what has happened at Sentabale - and indeed for his Lesotho co-founder.

It is clear that both sank their hearts in this project. That the whole board of trustees resigned at once, does suggest that something has gone badly wrong, which suggests something more than just a clash of personalities.

Hopefully, the Charity Commission enquiry will get to the heart of the matter and require changes that sort the problem out.

I have always thought it a shame that Prince Harry ever left the army. He was well liked and respected, which suggests he was doing a good job, which is, for example, more than be said of Prince Andrew, who was cordially disliked by almost everyone who served with him.

Thank you Allira, I have said their interviews and their speeches

I don’t read Daily Mail,

You get your opinions somewhere and those publications make huge money off articles that are critical of Meghan . You are always the first to take time to say how much you don’t like her .

They have made their own publicity, Syracute.
Oprah, books etc.

Anniebach is entitled to her opinion without being accused of forming her opinions from biased newspapers.

I'm feeling rather sorry for Harry at the moment with the accusations flying around from the Chairperson of Sentabale. Harry, I am sure, would never be misogynistic as she claims. The whole committee and both founders have resigned at her actions.

Last year hugging mothers whose children had taken their lives
because of social media, standing before cameras gripping a microphone speaking of the evils of social media

I don’t usually bother to read celebrity scandals in the press or magazines. Usually I don’t even know who they are anyway though of course I know Harry and Meghan.

But I have to ask, does it not bother people who support them when they themselves have contradictory versions of things that have happened, like the I was a latchkey kid who only ate ready meals, when previously there’s a recording of Meghan saying This is what we ate - good home cooking with basic ingredients.

Or a load of other stuff.

Does it not bug you that the story changes depending on who they’re talking to? Or do you just think Well everybody makes things up.

I know I’m a stickler for truth and the white lies/ tell a story doesn’t bother others as much. Personally I could never trust anything someone said once I knew they’d deliberately misled me.

They both give and have given many tv interviews

There are lots of people who seem to know what Diana would have thought, Ilovedogs.
They must all be spirit mediums!

Of course it's hypothetical. I think it would be safe to assume Diana, like most mothers, would not have been pleased for a partner to get in between her two sons and cause an enormous amount of friction between two brothers, so much so, they no longer speak.

What we do know is that H&M left the late Queen feeling pretty troubled in those final years.

Many believe it true

NotSpaghetti Thu 03-Apr-25 17:50:23

I haven't watched The Crown either.
Is it relevant? - I may have missed it.

Anniebach Thu 03-Apr-25 17:45:09

They gave many interviews from their engagement on

LucyAnna5 Thu 03-Apr-25 17:42:30

I listen to their interviews, never watched the crown.

Why? If you have no interest in Megan(sic) ??

How does she manage to cause such distress to many

It's not Megan or Harry!
It's because people are like lemmings & they believe all the stuff written in the tabloids, they hate the Sussex's because they went their own way.
Don't forget to question the articles that are printed in the the news and don't forget how they made Diana's life absolutely awful towards the end. 🤔

SueDonim Thu 03-Apr-25 17:12:45

I spotted fish paste in glass jars in M&S today! I dithered over whether to buy one to store my thermometer in, but to be honest, I don’t think fish paste jars are made with digital thermometers in mind. 🤔 😂

Anniebach Thu 03-Apr-25 17:07:51

I have no interest in Megan, she is shallow, a camera and microphone is her world

escaped Thu 03-Apr-25 15:30:41

I'm not interested in Meghan these days. Meghan will do what Meghan is going to do.

But, as lots of you are talking about Bonne Maman, I've just washed out an apricot jar here in France, and I noticed that the French version is called Intense.
That's a good name because it suggests flavour, colour and desire! Eat your heart out, As Ever.

Too many people read the Daily Mail etc.
Then they believe it’s true .
Daily Mail makes money off these garbage articles .

25Avalon Thu 03-Apr-25 14:32:24

Yes you used to tie string round the top of the jar if it had a rim and make a long handle to carry tadpoles etc in.

Our church used to collect clean empty jam jars to put nightlights in to line the road for the nativity procession at Christmas. You could of course have one on your nightstand.

Diana aligned. herself with Dodi Fayed

Ilovedogs22 Thu 03-Apr-25 14:04:52

Boz

Diana would have turned in her grave to know her silly younger son had aligned himself with a grade b Californian Hustler.

Wow Boz, where do you get all of your insider info from?
Oh, don't tell me, I can probably guess.!
Don't believe everything you read, most newspapers have their own agenda. 😒

Kathmaggie Thu 03-Apr-25 13:38:59

Tadpoles!
