I thought that the BBC spaghetti joke dated back to the sixties, but it's 1957 !
It was created by a guy called De Jaeger and done on a budget of £100 .
I was small when I watched it and my Grandma said that it was nonsense .
My mother said that it must be true or it wouldn't be on the BBC !

We once sewed up the fly of my late OH's underpants and listened and laughed when he went to the loo!!

I remember the one from Esther Ranzons Lirpa Loof It was a good one and I remember her saying at the end it spells April Fool. I loved her programmes.

Apparently, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch light railway, staffed by volunteers, is bidding to take over the running of Eurostar.
Also, Hotel Chocolat will be selling paint that makes your room smell of chocolate.

See my post on Infomans thread!

There was one years back with news of intention to build a formula one racing circuit round the park that surrounds Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh. That got a lot of outraged letters to local papers.

I almost fell for this one yesterday:
Did you know that Greenlanders have collected 4 billion kroner to buy Trump?

Anybody remember Esther Ranzon's, coupled with, I think, David Attenborough's April fool's joke?
I think it entailed the possible extinction of a rare animal:
The Lirpa Loof...such fun!

Yes, I remember the Lirpa Loof. It had purple poo! Along with the spaghetti trees they are my favourites.

If you can read this it’s hilarious. About how the Royal Navy is expanding the fleet by using inflatable warships.

I’m sure we all remember the spaghetti harvest on BBC about 50:years ago .
Have you seen any today worth passing on - we all need a chuckle?
This caught my eye
