Lovely Instagram thread

I recently reluctantly joined Instagram as it's the most useful way to communicate with DGS. All OK.
However, I'm now following a thread/topic on people reuniting with pets. It's wonderful. We don't deserve the love these, mostly dogs, give us. Sometimes it's service man returning from a tour of duty or a student coming home from university. The wonderful animals go frantic with joy. It's really heartwarming. Not always dogs, sometimes horses or donkeys and occasionally a big cat. If you're on Insta give it a look. Makes me smile every time.

It's a very comforting topic. It was reading about sad and lonely Grans that made me want to post it. Pets matter to us and clearly we matter to them.

Ah, the famous one where an old man finally finds his loyal dog Jorge after being missing for 3 years makes me cry every time I see it! It's on Facebook, can't remember if it's on Instagram too. Poor Jorge ended up on the streets as a stray. It was so uplifting to see their reunion.
