is your dog bringing pollen into your home?

I have hayfever, and I’m also sensitive to dander from my dog (spaniel). I keep him groomed very short, which helps considerably. He also does get hayfever himself, mainly in the autumn, when his eyes get red and irritated. He has Piriton, prescribed by the vet.

I get hay fever I am also asthmatic, I have all my windows open when warm enough like today, and have some open all year round.

I just pop antihistamines, varying drug combinations so that they keep working.

Baggs one of our AC’s dogs has hay fever, they have to give him antihistamines in spring/summer.

If one airs one's home pollen gets in anyway. I don't think pollen on pets' fur is worth worrying about any more than pollen on our clothes and hair, not to mention skin.

Besides, there are loads of treatments for hay fever sufferers. I know because I am one.

Do dogs suffer from hay fever?
