Good morning from Malta where a high of 25°C is forecast. It was very warm yesterday and the washing dried in no time on the line.

Thank you for all your kind, concerned messages re DD3’s unfortunate car accident. She is ok but very upset about her car which may well be a write off.

I did a lot of cleaning outside yesterday so I really hope the Saharan sand will stay in the Sahara as it is a filthy job cleaning up after it.

I indulged in much watching of tennis yesterday which I thoroughly enjoyed.

More tennis later but I have some ironing to attend to and possibly a whip round with the duster.

Wishing a good day to you all.☀️

Good morning from a very wet Torbay, just as it was yesterday. Such a pity for the holidaymakers.

We need to go shopping today for one or two items for our forthcoming cruise, departing next Thursday. It’s a week long trip, visiting Hamburg, Rotterdam and Antwerp. The highlight is the chance to visit the Keukenhof Gardens to see the tulips. This was a cruise originally planned for May, 2020 for my 70th but the pandemic intervened.

Safe journey home, Sallyforth: perhaps you could record the warbling birds on your phone to play when you’re at home.

A good weekend to all. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Good morning all. Grey skies and rain forecast for the day in Glasgow.

An at home day today with the choice of referring to my to do list or have a lazy day reading my book. The latter looks to be the favourite at this point.

Have the best day possible all.

Good morning from greyish South Lanarkshire.

These past few days have been quite full on with my DS and his children staying with us. It has been lovely but tiring.
They left at midday yesterday, I spent a couple of hours restoring order before going to the Good Friday service at 3pm.

No firm plans for today, will see how the day unfolds.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning Mick and all from a very dark Andalucia. There are no birds awake here yet. Later there will be some very noisy little birds who warble. I haven't heard them anywhere else, and don't know what they're called.

Goodness the 19th, where did April go? I hope to have a day in the garden and get some sun before heading back to the UK tomorrow. Otherwise a lazy day with some good company and nice food will be just perfect for today.

Take care everyone. Have a good day whatever you have planned. Special thoughts for the sick or sad. flowers

Good morning from a soggy Bristol. The first proper rain we’ve had for sometime. Fortunately, it’s gentle, so it has a chance to soften the earth and sink in.
I spent the day sewing, trying to line and fit at the squares together for my quilt.
I went to church for the “Last Hour” service; a very moving and emotionally difficult service for me. As there weren’t many attendees, I sat next to my neighbour. We “tottered” home (according to him, he’s very slow and unsteady), and he came back for tea and cake. He has a very sweet tooth, he’s such a nice chap.
Today, more seeking as I really want to have finished puzzling the assembly of this quilt.
I also am serving at the church coffe this morning. 8 hope a few more people come, than came at the FAB cafe.
Have a blessed holy Saturday. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
