Any ideas? I’ve tried hotter, Clark’s, moshula and none are altogether suitable. I am six and a half, wide fitting and definitely want leather!

Have you tried Reiker? I have become a convert over the past couple of years for boots, shoes and sandals. Ecco is also a go to brand and may be a slightly bit wider.

Sole Bliss. Online. Specially for wide feet 😎

I like Moshulu sandals.

You won’t go wrong with the Josef Siebel onesSally I had one pair for nine years. Hadtothrow them away when the soles got thin.

I love Lunar here: www.lunarshoesonline.co.uk

Thanks. I love the josef seibel ones. Sandals, for me, also need to be practical for driving. I’m tempted by the Josef ones.

I would not walk anywhere in any sandals other than Teva. I have had several pairs over decades. Extremely comfortable and fully adjustable velcro straps. Very hard wearing too!

Birkenstocks are good in the summer with adequate arch support.

I just got a pair of Karrimor Salina Sandal and have today walked into town and back again in them and no rubbing and very comfy. I got them half price too so think I may get them in another colour.

Mine are also Salina but they are not an truly wide fit. If your foot isn't puffy at all they will be fine - but some, who maybe get swollen feet, would find the cross-over above the toes a bit snug.

The vionic actually have a "wide" fitting. Not all styles though.

I can second a shout out for Reiker. I always buy my winter boots and sandals from them and they are so comfortable. Reasonably priced too. You do have to take a good look though as some of their styles are really old fashioned.

*when I said I didn't think I'd get on with them I meant the "gladiator " look!

I love my Vionic Rest.
Didn't think I'd get on with them but they are great. They do leather and non-leather - Amber and Harissa.
My stipulation was that they were filly adjustable - lots of straps.

I also bought a pair of Karrimor "walking" sandals that are wide. They are also great.

I recommend vionic as a brand.

Fitflop are great really comfortable and supportive even the sliders. I usually buy a couple of pairs when they have a sale.

I have 2 pairs of sandals from Damart and they’re very comfy.

BlueSapphire Wed 30-Apr-25 16:56:01

Cotton Traders or Pavers are my favourites, as they do stylish and comfortable in a wide fitting.

HelterSkelter1 Wed 30-Apr-25 16:50:43

It does depend on what style you want. My friend has just bought some .fishermens sandals from Pavers. Not pretty but leather and she says very comfortable.

Maria59 Wed 30-Apr-25 16:48:07

Another you could try is Marco Tozzi

TerriBull Wed 30-Apr-25 16:47:47

Fitflops, I order them when they have an offer on, usually in the winter for summer wesr, you have to project yourself forward. I'm always on the look out for comfortable footwear that also looks ok.

whywhywhy Wed 30-Apr-25 16:43:32

I love hotter shoes

JennyCee Wed 30-Apr-25 16:41:23

To add to the other two ladies who like Fitflops.
They’re wonderful if your feet ache. Pity they’re so expensive, but worth it as they last years.

And another vote for Skechers! I used to get plantar fasicitis (apologies for spelling) regularly until I started wearing Skechers shoes/sandals.
