Good morning from a cloudy hillside in south Glos, a much cooler couple of days ahead.
We had a lovely dog walk yesterday morning doing my favourite route; there were so many skylarks it was wonderful to see and hear them.
I spent several hours sorting out all my pots on the patio, weeding and topping them up with fresh compost and fertiliser. I was really pleased with my efforts but I could barely bend over by tend! My poor back 🙄
I really have too many pots but I love having flowers everywhere.
Today nothing much planned, suits me fine!
Take care everyone 🌹

Good morning from a dry, dawning Bristol.
I had an exhausting day yesterday, with so much going on, especially cleaning my bit of the church. It isn’t difficult but it makes my back ache.
My neighbour took me to Tesco in the afternoon as she is busy on Monday morning and we have arranged a VE Day tea for the residents in the afternoon.
A bit later she called me to ask if I could print some for her- invitations for those residents who are not on the WhatsApp group nor especially sociable. They still need inviting.
Today, I’ve got the church service then need to bake for tomorrow. I shall make too much and take the rest for my Wednesday FAB cafe, as I’m busy on Tuesday and won’t have time to bake.
I hope you have a good weekend despite the reduced temperatures. And are sorrow, pain and anxiety free.

Good morning from Malta where another sunny day is forecast with a high of 30°C.

I spent all yesterday morning painting my outside walls, it took a lot longer than I thought it would and I had to go and buy more paint as I think it needs a second coat.

I’m about to get up and get started on it as I want to finish it before the sun is too hot plus I want to tidy away all the paraphernalia. My back is killing me so it’s not going to be easy.

Mass at 11.30 after which the weekly chat with my pal in Leicester.

Tennis final later.

Wishing you all a happy Sunday.☀️
