Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire. The Met Office is telling me it’s cloudy. It definitely isn’t 😊

Well done on those steps Ekwa, hope you had a good rest afterwards.

Sending best wishes to GrandmaBatty for tomorrow’s cataract operation.

I’m glad you’re enjoying your weekend away Marydoll, sounds like just what you needed.

Sending love and healing thoughts to FGT2 and her DH. Hoping for good news tomorrow.

Yesterday MrB and agreed that I should concentrate on my physio exercises as the partly paralysed leg didn’t want to cooperate. So it was a morning, and part of the afternoon, of hamstring stretches, burpees, squats and other forms of physio torture 😁 The steam trains were running, as they do every Saturday in the summer, so we watched from the open window and waved to the driver and passengers.

More exercises today and a stroll later.

As always, my thoughts are with those under the weather or dealing with sorrow in their lives.

Wishing all you all a peaceful Sunday🌹♥️

Ooh do we get to write twice!
I have just noticed this thread.
I'm having breakfast in my greenhouse/ conservatory. The garden hasn't heated up enough yet.

I shall plant out my geraniums and
hope the deer don't eat them.

All the best to Grandmabatty and the FGTs for tomorrow. ☘️ 🤞

Morning, sun and 22 expected, we’re off to watch our grandson play football later, an important semi final, I need to fish out a hat, take suncream and water.
Meat draw later, I’ll put a curry on in the slow cooker, chicken and sweet potato.
Enjoy the sunshine.

Lovely Mozart concert in our beautiful church yesterday evening soothed my rather frazzled mind and meant I had a very good night. Nothing planned for today other than Evensong so just the Sunday paper and a phone call or two.

Good morning from sunny N.Bucks

We have some bedding plants to put in today . No rush, we shall take it slowly as we have nothing else planned.

Wishing you all a good day with a smile along the way.

Good morning everyone.

Lovely and sunny here so washing will be pegged pout and then I plan to do sewing. I have an important job to do for Beechnutella.

Enjoy your roasts etc 🌼

Good morning to you all.

Yesterday we went round to DD2 and family. Their garden is very sheltered unlike our always windy one, and it was very hot sitting out. Their garden makeover is proving to be a huge undertaking.

I’m glad your DD’s horse has turned a corner Karma. Years ago, our daughter’s pony got severe colic. He laid with his head on her lap for hours but recovered.

Enjoy your break Marydoll. Best wishes to Grandmatty for her cataract surgery tomorrow. Hoping for all the best for FGT and her DH tomorrow.

Have a peaceful Sunday everyone.

Good morning from beautiful Suffolk; the curtains are blowing gently in the breeze, sun is streaming in, the dog is running about on the grass and the cats are snoozing on the chairs. Hopefully a peaceful, lazy Sunday to come, with some light gardening. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone from a very bright and 🌞 🌞Northampton, set to be as nice as yesterday. I think my cough is slightly better, so may venture our and cut some of the four weeks growth of grass jungle from the back lawn. My gardener is coming on Thursday and could do it, but I would rather he dealt with the jobs I hate such as weeding and trimming the lawn edges. Then I may sit out and read the Sunday papers.

It was good to get out to the shops yesterday and I got most of the things I needed, plus something I didn't - a new cardigan from Sainsbury's!

Wishing all a lovely day in this lovely weather.

Good morning all.

Yesterday Dh went to footie with ds1 but came home at half time as he was tired.
My friend came for a cuppa and a natter which broke the day up nicely. No therapists over the weekend, which is good as it can become exhausting for both of us 😅.

DS1 has just appeared to take my car for a clean and valet, he’ll do the tyre pressures and fill up with petrol. What a 🌟that boy is ❤️.

I’ll mow the lawn later, once I’ve got my head around DH’s medication routine. A new bag of prescriptions has left my head 🤯.
I take nothing, only eye drops!

I think a day of relaxation and reading today. I might clear out a few drawers.

Enjoy the day, as best you can. 🪴

Good morning from sunny Cambridgeshire where our BBQ is being fired up too. DD2 is joining us but on her own so we will get time for a good chat with her. I need to pop to Waitrose for extra supplies and will potter in the garden.

Karma enjoy your cycle ride. I love my e bike and you don’t get a “free” ride you still have to pedal but that little bit of extra assistance is very welcome.

Grandmabatty all the best for your cataract op tomorrow

FGTs hoping all goes well 🤞

All the best to everyone for a happy trouble free Sunday 🌻

Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny, dry Carlisle.
Yesterday I had an early train trip to Newcastle to see my physio. A lovely day to be riding across the Pennines, lots of little lambs not so little now but also farmers having to irrigate their crops. I have already had a missive from the water company to tell how far down the local reservoirs are, and how to save water.
I didn't linger in Newcastle but came back to have a wander round Carlisle centre and unsuccessfully search the local bookshops for a book on a subject I wanted. Good to see so many people out enjoying the weather, we hit 20°C. Back home to do...nothing. I was overcome finding I'd achieved over 8000 steps, an exhausting thought!
Today I have lots to plant out in the garden and I must give various new plantings a good soaking. One idea I will take up from the water company is to collect the water I let run away whilst waiting for the hot to come through. I shouldn't have needed reminding.

Enjoy the day if you can, best wishes to all.

Mick, I didn’t spot it til after I’d posted…🤦‍♀️

Good morning Mick and all who follow- I’m about to enjoy my chamberpot of Yorkshire Gold ☕️ before trotting out for a paper.

Yesterday was spent at Caernarfon Castle Food festival in glorious 🌞 listening to different bands playing as we wandered around dozens of stands - the artisan pies were 😋

Today will be spent pottering in PGTowers grounds assisting the Head Gardener with hedge trimming advice…always goes down well when I squint and tell him it’s not straight 🤣

Another hospital run tomorrow as my friend has a cataract consultation and won’t be able to drive afterwards but will be able to visit the Factory Outlet…🤗

A peaceful Sunday to you all with 💐 for all with troubles x
