Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it is 10°C.
Glad to hear your procedure went well yesterday, GMB,
I hope all goes well today, Bella. and wish the wee one a speedy recovery.
Susan, fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
I had a lovely final day's holiday yesterday, enjoying the company of my family,
An open air breakfast at the harbourside in Elie, a wander round the shops and a fish supper and ice cream in Anstruther, before heading home. DH of course went rogue and ignored the sat nav again, I saw parts of St. Andrew's, I never knew existed.
SIL was very brave, when he pointed out that DH had made an error
s.
DH just ignored him!! 🤣
The weather was slightly cooler than Sunday, but very pleasant. Even better, the weekend crowds had gone, meaning we could stroll at our leisure, without being pushed out of the way.
I had one last sortie to my boutique, to show DD and DIL a dress I had purchased. I ended up buying another top, much to the amusement of the owner, who said I would need to increase my savings pot for next year;
Off to Sainsbury's later, the cupboards are bare, My family wanted to wait until we arrived at our destination, before buying provisions, but instead, I decided to bring supplies.
Thank goodness, I did, for the supermarket in Anstruther has had no deliveries for a week, the shelves are bare, due to the cyber attack.
.My plans to do a shop, to save going out today, but that was impossible.
Residents are having to travel to the larger towns for their food shopping. Not easy if you don't own a car.
It will be a gentle day for me, I am washed out, but it was all worth it.. I have been up during the night coughing badly
unfortunately woke up DH and am feeling out of sorts. My chest is very congested and I can't clear it, the pollen must be high.
Wishing you all a pleasant day and prayers for the FGTs.
I am going to try one more time to post some photos, but am not counting on it. I have tried different devices, but no luck.
Have anyone ever hesitated to get help at home because of not much reassurance

.
