I love Gransnet, but you all put me to shame! You are all so busy, dashing about here and there, cleaning, catching buses, shopping, gardening ………all before breakfast! It’s lovely to read about it but makes me feel inadequate. I told my daughter this and she said, ‘well, what do you expect, Mum, you are nearly 80!’ I think she meant to make me feel better! 😂
I had a panic this morning when I went to open a new box of my meds and couldn’t find it. I looked high and low, even phoning my chemist to see if I had actually picked up my last prescription. I had. Panicked call to surgery who will issue me a replacement, but I have to go in person to collect it. Coffee first, I thought. Waiting for the kettle to boil, I pulled the microwave out so I could wipe underneath, and there was my pack of pills! I really must be more careful!
Nothing special happening today. I need to sort out some neglected bills etc and file them.
I lead a very interesting life!
