Good morning from south Glos, another bright sunny day ahead.
We had a peaceful early walk yesterday, along fields and through a wood, a beautiful way to start the day. The dogs loved it. For some reason I woke up with a very painful back so the first bit was really painful but the walking helped a bit.
It remained with me all day and night and I slept badly. I do hope it goes away soon because I can’t sit or lie comfortably either!
Anyway, all the washing dried nicely yesterday, my roses are blooming and my garden is looking really nice so I can enjoy just making the most of the weather. I have more plants arriving so I need to make space for them, and I will be growing my runner beans in a massive tub again- I simply love them eaten with butter and black pepper 😋
I’ve also ordered dwarf been plants for some pots and I look forward to harvesting them too.
I didn’t do my art group yesterday and I will miss today’s group too but I simply cannot sit comfortably at the moment.
So I plan to keep moving as much as possible today and enjoy the sunshine ☀️
Dgs1 had his first senior school report yesterday, one hugely proud Nonna here!

Have a good day 🌹

Good morning from Malta where it looks brighter than yesterday when we had a month’s rain in one day causing floods in several areas. It was a really miserable day.

The boys were good as gold yesterday. DGS2 is doing so well but does feel some discomfort when his pain medicine wears off.

Their other Nanna came over for a while which was nice. We get along very well which is an added bonus.

I’m off to look after them today, DGS1 will go to nursery this afternoon but his brother can’t join him until next Wednesday, all being well.

I watched tennis last night, what a match between Sinner and Ruud. Any of you tennis fans will know what I mean!

I shall be watching the semifinals later on. I’m as keen on tennis as Mick is on cycling.😄

Oh, I’ve got a hair appointment later as well. Will have to take DGS2 with me but he’s always very well behaved.

Wishing a good day to you all and thank you again for the support this week. It means a lot to be able to share things with you, since losing my sisters and husband I find there’s nobody to tell life’s ups and downs to who understands.☀️

Good morning from a sunny Bristol. This nor’easterly doesn’t want to stop.
I had an unsettled night full of the weirdest dreams.
Taichi yesterday morning, dinner at DD’s in the evening. Everyone seemed in good spirits. DD cut these flowers for me. SiL has done wonders with cleaning the very overgrown garden since he resigned from his job in January.
Today, Spanish in the morning and I have to go to town to the bank in the afternoon.
Have a good day all. Special thoughts to the FGTs and MD.
