I’ve tried to do this for a few days now and every time they send a link I go straight to it and do it and then this comes up and I have done it within a couple of minutes..
I will not bother anymore..🤦‍♀️

Is it linked to the recent hacking?

I’m leaving mine as it is unless I’m told to change it, I feel very sorry for M&S going through this.

I changed ours early one morning without problem, is it possible you are not using the most recent link? If not I think I’d give customer services a call and ask for help.

As soon as I received the link, I changed my password with no problems.

I looked on their website yesterday and it said they have suspended all online orders. When they are up and running again, they advise changing your password.

Yes Debbi they’ve suspended their online ordering for a few weeks now, it’s been all over the news.

Shinamae I tried to update my password twice and received no email - I then tried it early one morning as cornergran did and the email came through straight away. Over the next couple of days a couple more emails came through with the link to change password which I assume were the original two I tried.

Patience is the key but if not give them a call, a lady I spoke to was very helpful with actioning a refund I had been waiting for since mid April.

I received a scam text on Friday from someone calling me Mum, saying they’d dropped their phone in the toilet and lost all data. I replied & offered help, but as luck would have it my daughter WhatsApped me at that very same moment, so I realised I was being conned. I’m amazed at myself for being taken in as I’m quite vigilant.

Anyway, my reason for mentioning this here is that I suspect it was connected to the cyber attack on M&S, and the theft of customer data.

The scammer was very friendly and quite convincing, saying they were going to put the wet phone in a bowl of rice to try to save their data, no request for anything other than to continue contact on WhatsApp rather than text. I’ve blocked and reported them, but I’m on the alert for anything suspicious.
