soop has had more than her fair share of medical problems, and to add to her buggerations, none of the hospitals are near, as far as I can remember.

Blossoming My apologies, happy birthday. My brain is at rest.

Pleased to "see" you here again, FGT, all best wishes to you & your DH. x

Sorry to hear you & your DH have covid to cope with, SueD, always something to try us. x

Baggs, thank you for update of our dear soop, more 'buggerations' indeed. We are all wishing her well. x

A rather late Birthday greeting, Blossoming, x cupcake wine

My warmest thoughts to you all, especially those with extra worries, & all in the quiet corner, including corner! flowers

Grandmabatty Mon 07-Jul-25 18:45:32

Thank you Bags. Poor Soop, I hope she is treated quickly

Nannytopsy Mon 07-Jul-25 18:41:04

Thank you for letting us know Baggs and please pass on love and best wishes.

Baggs Mon 07-Jul-25 18:35:11

Our dear soop has asked me to let you know that she was at the doc again today and he thinks she may have a twisted bowel. She is to have an enema and is being referred back to her Paisley surgeon. Endless buggerations seem to be the order of the day. I know you will send her all the virtual strength you collectively can.

I don't really keep up with the Kitchen at the moment but must say I'm glad to see FGT has been reinstalled.

Good wishes to all 🌹💐

Grandmadinosaur Mon 07-Jul-25 18:16:00

How lovely to see you back FGT2 you have been missed. Thank you for updating us on himself. Sending love and thoughts and keeping everything crossed as you deal with what life has thrown at you 💐

Happy Birthday Blossomimg 💐

Happy holidays LLFL and also brook

Oh dear Grandmabatty those boys! Sounds like a strong drink is in order.

GrannySomerset Mon 07-Jul-25 18:04:33

It’s been a very long four weeks and we are so pleased to see you when ever you feel like posting, FGT. Our thoughts are with you both.

Grandmabatty Mon 07-Jul-25 18:02:55

Nude drawing I should have said. Just in case you think I'm kinky

Grandmabatty Mon 07-Jul-25 18:01:30

Good to see you back FGT and best wishes for your dear man. I'm sorry for all the broken limbed and the covid sufferers.
I'm feeling a bit fragile. The boys were very well behaved this morning but lulled me into a false sense of security! Oh boy, I've had screaming and stamping feet this afternoon. Dgs2 is NOT pleased with me, mainly because I wouldn't let him have any more sweets stuff. He's eaten all day. Dgs1 was upset with his mum because he wanted to play with his neighbour but mum said no, dinner and a bath. So it's been a trying time.
I have tidied up a bit although there's chalk or pastels on my duvet cover. I suspect dgs1 was looking at some of my stuff and it's spread. I will wash it on Wednesday because they'll be back tomorrow so no point in doing it tomorrow. We are definitely going to soft play tomorrow morning.
On a better note, I have paid for my holiday accommodation and paid for the lovely nude I bought yesterday.
There may be a glass of wine consumed later. Have a good evening Kitcheners

Blossoming Mon 07-Jul-25 17:57:40

Lovely to see you back FGT2, best wishes to you and your DH ♥️

Thank you all for the kind birthday wishes. We had to stay home most of today as the burglar alarm was having its annual service and we were expecting a delivery. MrB took me to the parcel shop as I had to return a tunic top that was far too big. I have lost a lot of weight during my recent spell in hospital. The weather is beautiful and I enjoyed sitting in the sun while MrB pottered. We are going out for my birthday lunch on Wednesday instead.

kittylester Mon 07-Jul-25 17:52:54

Fancy bumping into you here, FGT.🥳☀️

Sorry to hear about the Covid SueD. We had it after our holiday. It was debilitating for about 3 days but there was quite a long recovery period. And a 'funny tummy' which is a characteristic of the new variant.

Broken bones are with it today. Persie was playing football at school and now has a greenstick fracture of her right arm. The bonus was that she and DD3 came here for lunch while they waited for the xray appt.

Every cloud etc.

Redcar Mon 07-Jul-25 17:47:43

Lovely to see you back fgt, it’s been a long four weeks without you. Hoping and praying that the treatment works and that your DH makes a good recovery. My thoughts are always with you.
Happy Birthday blossoming I hope you’re having a good day.

recklessgran Mon 07-Jul-25 17:43:18

I'm a lurker too but always read this and the Good Morning thread. Seeing FGT back here at last brought tears to my eyes. FGT, you and himself are never far from my mind. We have all missed you very much. Sending love, strength and hugs to you both. x
