Thank you for starting the new kitchen Soop, it’s a wonderful friendly place to hang out. Thank you everyone for the yummy treats, especially the lemon drizzle cake and chocolate brownies. It’s still a beautiful warm sunny evening here (sorry Kitty) so I’ve opened a bottle Sauvignon Blanc and bought a few posh nibbles from M&S - please help yourselves ❤️

Gorgeous hair Blossoming my unruly hair will never swish!
My back - playing up again - eases during the day, moving is the key, so I’ve garden pottered, washed floors downstairs and watered the greenhouse after a walk around the block.
My daughter and Imogen just blew in, grabbed drinks, sat for 30 minutes, then whizzed off to collect Fin from football training, like mini tornadoes they are.
Dinner is a chicken tray bake with veg, garlic and hoisin sauce.
I’ve left some chocolate and cherry loaf cake out, I rarely bake, but can make that!

Today I did a wash, hung it out and then ironed it and put it away. I have tidied the kitchen and washed the bathroom floor. I discovered the bottom of the fridge was swimming in water just before the Tesco delivery arrived so that meant a clean. No idea why it was so wet unless the hole at the back blocked. Food was put away. I'm having a spicy chicken fillet with potatoes and red cabbage for dinner. My lovely neighbour is coming over to put my bins out because it is very heavy. So a quiet but pleasant day. The rain is due tomorrow night and it's so needed. Enjoy your evening Kitcheners

Ocado has just delivered our grocery order and there’s a chocolate roll which I’ll put on the side if anyone fancies a slice.
Thinking of everyone with worries and troubles tonight.💐

Lovely new kitchen, soop, and it's perishing here so can I reserve a place by the aga - with a cup of tea and some nice lemon drizzle cake. I am assuming that virtual lemon drizzle cake is suitable for all diets, being gluten and calorie free.

Redhead56 Thu 22-May-25 16:47:59

Nice to see you are back soop.

Nannytopsy Thu 22-May-25 16:33:49

Lost not looked!! 🤬

Nannytopsy Thu 22-May-25 16:33:14

Loving the decor and the comfy chairs in this new kitchen. I have just got back from an hour’s walk (well one long sniff really) with the granddog and now have a cup of tea. Some virtual brownies will be lovely thank you. I had lost 2 stones just before Christmas and while I hadn’t put any back on, neither had I looked at any more. This morning I found I am finally another pound lighter, so hopefully back on the downward trend.
Like Corner I have a mountain of ironing, so I shall love you and leave you. X

Thank you soop for a new kitchen and thinking of us while dealing with your bereavement.

I’ve been tempted in by the mention of lemon drizzle cake Cornergran it’s my favourite. Thank you.
It’s been a quiet day here. DH and I had business to do in the village. Had a coffee whilst there and DIL and little GD walked past and joined us. Grandad is currently “her best friend” and only he got a goodbye kiss!

Thank you for this lovely new kitchen soop, especially as you must be feeling so sad about your dear little sister.
I’ve been at DD1s all day, cuddling up with her dog, she’s keeping me warm as it’s chilly here today.
I have a quiet day tomorrow so will do some baking.
Have a peaceful evening everyone.

Thankyou Soop for opening our lovely, new kitchen. The decor is a lovely peaceful shade, just the job for us to take 'time out' to 'decompress' before we go again.

Thank you for this lovely new kitchen Soop and thank you for thinking of us when you have so much on your plate.

I have finally been able to get my unruly locks cut, my niece has given me the number of her mobile hairdresser who is a lovely lady and has done a great job. We have been out for a walk this afternoon and I no longer have hair blowing in my face!

Sending love to all my kitchen friends x
