I'm so excited to have been given tickets to see them when in Glasgow. Now, if I was in my 30's I'd be wearing something hippy chic/sexy/fringy, but I'm not in my 30's any more and sadly don't have the figure for those types of clothes any more either. I would appreciate suggestions for an outfit to wear please. Maybe just jeans and tee?

Most people will be there in jeans and an old Abraxas T shirt.

About ten years ago, I met someone for a date at a gig for another band from that era. At the interval, I went to the loo. He said he would get in the queue for beers. I came out of the loo and was faced with several long lines of 50/60 something men all wearing jeans and old gig T-shirts. I couldn’t pick him out so went back to my seat. Five minutes later I got a text. Where are you? I had to explain that all the men looked the same. Well, I didn’t have to but we had a laugh over it. smile

If you’re as (un)lucky as I’ve been at the last gigs we went to, yogitree, nobody will see what you’re wearing under the big mac and rain poncho anyway. smile

Fingers crossed the sun shines for you and you have a great time.

If you’re comfy in jeans, go that way. A quirky top (Joe Browns) or a tea shirt will be fine. Comfy shoes. You’ll find folks in all sorts of looks. I do ageing hippy (minus fringes) myself.

Jeans, shirt or t-shirt, trainers and small cross-body bag.
Have a great time!
