Reading those meal ideas, I’m hungry now in spite of the heat!

Oh dear! I just had a large boiled egg and cucumber sandwich with lots of baby tomatoes and a packet of crisps on the side with a cup of tea. Am I the only one who doesn't lose her appetite because of the heat?
It's not my favourite, I'd much rather have cheese and I am very partial to a fish finger sandwich or a prawn sarnie with lots of salad.

yogurt and fresh or tinned fruit, or breakfast cereal. It's too hot to have anything much.

My favourite at any time is a four fish finger sandwich with plenty of salad. If I only have lettuce in the fridge I will pile some on one slice of bread, any kind I’m not fussy, pop the fish fingers on top squirt plenty of salad cream, not mayonnaise I’m allergic, put the other slice of bread on top squash down, cut in four and I’m happy. My niece who also loves the same has found that most eating places will now happily serve fish finger sandwiches if asked, cheap and cheerful 😊

I have just had a cheese omelette and salad. I make a large one and have half of it cold tomorrow. With salad. And maybe potato salad. Light and tasty.

By the evening I don't really fancy anything much. Maybe a sandwich or a fruit salad and yoghourt.
