In Australia deodorants were known as Pommie Showers!!

Use of which was possibly very noticeable among those who didn’t use anything.

Nothing worse than a deodorant on top of unwashed skin
I don’t need them I ve never ever sweated a fluke of nature I guess even when I lived in the tropics I got hot but never sweated my then husband you could ring his clothes out
Anyway I shower every day nothing like soap and water

You’re not Prince Andrew by any chance?😁

I never use an anti-perspirant…… . I use this because it’s a deodorant
It’s hard to find a deodorant these days nearly all are anti perspirant,as for 72 hour protection they can keep that,we have to perspire it keeps our skin healthy, blocking the pores for 72 hours. No thank you.🥵

Surely these are antiperspirants rather than deodorants?

Maybe a chemist will come along shortly.

But I'm with your granddaughter on this!
Why do we need 72 hours?

Yes it does say anti perspirant but is perfumed to stop odours too.
But 72 hours? And should we save money by only washing underarms every 3 days so as not to waste the product and save water?
I’m with my DGD on that.

I have always thought some people[not all at all] use them so they think they just dont need to wash as often.
Maybe just my opnion.

Shopping with teenage DGD she pointed out that deodorants say they work for 72 hours.
She doesn’t believe it! She said, “Bits that need deodorant need washing more often than every three days.”
I hope she wasn’t saying I smell! I do shower more often than that!
