Just wondering, if anyone else has received this M&S reward after having their order cancelled during the cyber attack.

My first thoughts, when I got their email, was it a scam? such is my reaction when anything is offered for free. However, as it has to be redeemed in store, I think it's genuine.

I also received one for the princely sum of a fiver.

I got mine - it was £10.00. DH got the 'warning' email but not a gift card yet.

TerriBull Sun 29-Jun-25 09:40:41

Ooo! sorry to boast, I got a tenner, still a fiver's better than a kick in the teeth Charleygirl smile

It's annoying not having their sale items on line at the moment or their Sparks offers.

Grannybags Sun 29-Jun-25 09:45:26

Yes £10 for me too.

Maybe it depends on how much the cancelled on line order was

kittylester Sun 29-Jun-25 09:51:57

Sorry, I wasn't meaning to boast. I had assumed all gift cards would be the same and was surprised that Charley hadn't got the same. I hope she knows i wasn't boasting.

Mine was also £10 , a nice surprise.
My cancelled order wasn’t large, just bedding which I then ordered from Dunelm .

TerriBull Sun 29-Jun-25 10:10:08

Yes sorry same as Kitty Lester, possibly the amount received relates to the amount of the individual cancelled order maybe? I know my orders were taking advantage of Sparks offers at the time of cancellation, that's all I can think of regarding any disparities in these sweetners.

kittylester Sun 29-Jun-25 10:31:19

Or maybe it relates to the amount of orders in general. I have quite an M&S online habit.

Jaxjacky Sun 29-Jun-25 11:04:35

I got one too, added to online account. I’m hoping click and collect will be back soon.

I agree a fiver is better than nothing especially when I was not expecting it.

I really am rich this month because the DVLA sent me a cheque for £8.33. I have handed in my driving licence, sold my car and I used to pay £20 annually to some road tax.

All money gratefully received here.

JdotJ Sun 29-Jun-25 14:01:20

I got £5

KLKit Mon 30-Jun-25 12:43:52

Mine was for £10, i think it corresponds to the value of the order that was cancelled

argymargy Mon 30-Jun-25 13:41:20

Yes, I was convinced it was a scam for ages but finally found the explanatory email in my junk folder! It was £10 and I bought some socks.

I have the delivery pass, costing £25 for the year. Presumably those that have the pass will get an extension - mine is due to renew in October, but there has been at least three months of non availability for delivery of online orders. This too will probably cost M and S quite a tidy sum if they do extend the dates of the passes.

LaCrepescule Mon 30-Jun-25 15:27:48

Yes I got one but thought it was a scam so checked the email address which looked very dodgy indeed.
I replied and told them to go and do one. Then I looked further back and saw I’d been sent a genuine email by them saying I was about to get a gift card 🫢

Lucpul01 Mon 30-Jun-25 16:23:59

Yes I received one too which I thought looked like a potential scam email so haven’t clicked on the link. I will do now though so thanks for posting. I can’t even remember them cancelling my order it was so long ago! Oh well, nice surprise anyway!

tanith Mon 30-Jun-25 16:29:44

I got £10 thanks M & S

Diplomat Mon 30-Jun-25 20:01:06

I got £5

Emilierik Mon 30-Jun-25 21:35:46

I got 20$😃✅

Bridie22 Mon 30-Jun-25 22:23:05

I didn't get an ecard, but I did get my sparks offers back ..

Usedtobeblonde Wed 02-Jul-25 19:59:32

I pay for a yearly pass which enables me to have free delivery on all goods regardless of price.
I have now been given 3 months free because I could not take advantage of the offer.
I am quite impressed by the response from M&S.
Incidentally I have shopped at M&S since the early 50’s when I went to college in Nottingham.
It is nothing like the organisation it is today but always was value for money.

I've had an email tonight saying that the delivery pass will be extended by three months, and a £10.00 voucher last week. They are working hard to get the business back on track; I hope they do, and that the losses won't be overwhelming.
