What is on your patio?

We don't know where the alpine strawberries came from, but the patch gets bigger every year. I think the blackbirds spread them around, they love them.

We have alpine strawberries growing everywhere, they're not very tasty though.

It's been a pleasant evening, eating outside on the patio, then watching DD doing some weeding!

We spent one of our wedding anniversaries preparing for the slabs to go down. We knew how to do romantic stuff 😂

The fox and Seagull have both gone home. The fox just stands there waiting for food. Unlike the seagull who pecks on the door.
The here are some of my Lillie’s. Can’t wait for the huge ones behind them to come out.

A hedgehog a few days ago. Probably comes every night as we leave out cat food.

A lot of mess after the gutters were cleaned while we were out .

I had at least one subterranean bumble bee last year. Every so often a solitary bee would emerge from a crack at the side of the patio. I am sure they have a proper name. No sign of any this year.

He was doing some wriggling so maybe they were tickling him and having no arms 😂 couldn’t brush them off.

I have ants too Jax infact some of them were having a wonder over slow worms body.

On our patio are planters full of summer flowers and a little fountain. We have been graced with the presence of a grey squirrel who has been coming daily to feast on the alpine strawberries that are gradually taking over the gravel.

The only wildlife we have is a few ants!

Lovely, I have loads of wilting herbs - not as exciting at all.
