Good morning from Kennack Samds where the weather is looking very promising.
Today we shall be driving a little further Trelissick Gardens then over the King Harry ferry. On to Portscatho, St Just in Roseland and St Mawes.
Dinner is booked at a restaurant on the way back.
The friends we are away with have not visited this part of Cornwall before and we are enjoying showing them the places we love.
Very best wishes to those who are struggling with problems and illnesses.
A good day wished for all.

Good morning all from lovely sunny north Wales where I finally got to sit out with my reviver ☕️ after a good eight hours 💤 - I average 7 hours most nights and like to include an 8 to make up my fifty hours a week! I’m convinced it’s wot keeps me healthy🫡

Poor Buzz and poor you Bellasnana - whatever you choose, know that you’ve done your loving best and he’s had the best life x

Brunch with a friend later is my treat for the day and we too are having steak and salad for dinner on the patio this evening Roses (preceded by a G&T whilst watching the 🎾- I’m torn between wanting Norrie to win and Carlitos who I first saw on TV in Spain almost a decade ago…)

Have a lovely day all who can and 💐 for those with challenges x

Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle where the sky is a cloudless blue!
Yesterday was a busy morning of cleaning and laundry, then it was off to the hospital for my hearing test. It was busy there but I seemed to be the only customer for the audiologist. What service! I left within an hour with a brand new pair of aids instead of a wait of weeks for the new ones. I was pleased to discover that my hearing hadn't deteriorated in the several years since the last test.
I then went into town for a prescription and ready meals from M&S....and a bottle of interesting sounding wine.

Back home to not much. I watched the Tour highlights in the evening and another episode of the Forsytes.

Today, I'll give the bathrooms a going over and there's a lot of admin awaiting. I'd really like to find time to get out in the garden too.

Best wishes for Buzz Bella though, sadly, I'm having to agree with karma's comment.

Good morning from South Lanarkshire.
It’s dry and sunny at last.

Bella my heart goes out to you, it’s such a difficult decision.

Charity shop day, it seems to come round so quickly.

This evening we’re meeting my Canadian cousin for dinner. He often comes over to London for business and adds on a visit to his hometown of Glasgow to see his mother’s sister and us.
We’re eating at the restaurant you mentioned the other day Kalu.

Good to hear that FGT has returned.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Good morning all from from a bright North Leicestershire.

Yesterday was a funny day. Lots of messages from a neice who is in an violent, coercive relationship, a visit from DD3 and Persie between appointments at the hospital - Perse has broken her arm playing football!

Today should be more peaceful- choir for me and DH is off to the university where ge is part of a trial looking at aging.

Have the best day possible everyone.

I was told to pop in here yesterday by someone to read FGT's return message.
Adding my best wishes.

glammagran Tue 08-Jul-25 07:32:52

I’m so so sorry about Buzz Bellasnana. What an awful situation. I wish you all the best.

So glad to see you back FGT. You’ve been very much missed. You are both obviously going through very tough rimes. My heartfelt wishes to you both. 💞

Good morning everyone. It's been a hectic couple of days. By the time I've had chance to read the threads it's been late afternoon and too late to post.
Thinking of you, Bellasnana and Buzz with your impossible dilemma.
I hope today brings some clarity when you visit the Vet.
Hope everyone has the best day possible. 🌻

A quick look in from a bus in sunny Cornwall where I've been called unexpectedly to my son's to sit with my granddaughter while my grandson goes to hospital for an appointment. Then home to support the young artist at her exhibition, which was looking fabulous when we'd finished hanging it last evening.

Welcome back FGT!

Bellasnanna 🌹

Good morning all and it’s a pleasant day at the moment. Sunny but cool.

Yesterday’s speaker at our U3A meeting was excellent. He wasn’t the one we expected as the original one had called off, but he spoke about his life in retail. So eloquent and amusing. A real East End boy but far more entertaining than many ‘academic’ speakers we have .

Today I’m meeting my oldest pal for coffee. I’ll hop on the train for two stops and sit in the lovely garden of the cafe, and chat away for a couple of hours. Back home to see that Dh is ok and out for Bridge Club. I came top last week ! 🥳.

Dh told me last night, he’s going into town today to visit the bank. I’m worried as his walking is still poor, but feel if he wants to try, I shouldn’t discourage him 😥.

My ds1 and family are in Malta this week, and as Bella says ‘it’s blooming hot’ but they say it’s beautiful !

Bella what a dilemma and such a sad situation. Love to you and dear Buzz. 🐾

Take care 🌼

Good morning from a sunny Suffolk after some light rain during the night.

Thank you for the kind condolences and PMs about my sister which were much appreciated. I haven’t read your posts but will do so with my first cup of tea now, always the best of the day.

I’m beginning to get back into a more normal way of life and, whilst much of my time is spent thinking about my sister,I can begin to do so now with a smile and remember the good times we shared.

Meeting a dear friend for lunch after a dog walk with DH after breakfast. Hope there is a little sunshine in everyone’s day, especially those with worries or ill health.

Good Morning from Durham. After yesterday’s squally showers and gale force winds, it’s blue sky and sunny now, but still breezy.
A day to myself today - I’m sure I’ll find plenty to do.

I’m so sorry to read about Buzz, Bellasnana. My mantra is ‘A day too soon, is better than an hour too late’ - be guided by your head, not your heart and do what’s right for Buzz.

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from Cambridgeshire where the weather is warming up again. Apart from collecting the 11 year old and little monkey from school later I have a free one. I think I may go for a cycle ride. DH is out all day and has a busy week this week.

Bellanana a heartbreaking decision I also agree with what Karmalady says in her post.

Welcome back FGT

Have a good Tuesday everyone

Jaxjacky Tue 08-Jul-25 07:54:34

Morning, blue sky here and the start of a hot, getting hotter period.
So sorry bellas difficult decisions.
Yesterday was quiet on the voluntary phone, there’s no telling on a Monday. Some dusting was done, Tesco list started and quiz in the evening, my daughter didn’t come, she was missed.
Window cleaner here today, quick trip to pick up MrJ’s birthday present for the 20th, sort out tax and insurance online for the new car tomorrow.
Safe journey llfl
Hope brook is in Tenerife relaxing.
Morning FGT 🙂

Good morning all from a sunny Glasgow, where it is 11°C.

A dreadful dilemma, Bella, 💐

Good to hear FGT can post again, Banning posters does not sit well with me, especially if they are fragile.

Lovely photo, Ash.

Yesterday, I decided to make a fruit crumble from the soft fruit in the garden. Everything had gone, despite the netting! Grrr.

My hearing has become so poor, compounded by a painful mouth and dreadful hoarseness and I am beginning to feel very isolated and embarrassed. At church yesterday, I thought the microphones were broken and went to check. They were not.
Later, a lady came running after me laughing, to say that a number of people had been trying to attract my attention, but I heard nothing. The fact that the curate was losing patience with me, made me even more upset.
Consequently, I have booked a private consultation for Friday. It would be ages before I got help from the NHS, they have written me off. 😡
Unfortunately, I am now double booked. I had forgotten, DD had invited us up for the afternoon and a bite to eat. 😌
I am a numpty !

Hoping you had a lovely birthday, Blossoming. and wishing you all a pleasant day.

harrigran Tue 08-Jul-25 08:06:55

Good morning from north Wales where it is overcast yet again.
Family went out on a hike yesterday, I stayed put and read my book.
GD went shopping for dinner and we all helped make a full English breakfast at 8pm.
It was a cool windy evening so the young ones went in the hot tub while we discussed plans for today.
Good to see FGT back.
Sorry to here about Buzz Bellasnana.

Liberty Tue 08-Jul-25 08:11:04

Have now read your post Bella and just want to say I am thinking of you as you deal with the difficult decision of what to do for Buzz which is best for him. Whatever you decide to do,it will be made out of love and wanting the best for him.

merlotgran Tue 08-Jul-25 08:27:28

Good morning from a sunny south coast. I’m dashing around as usual because I slept badly last night so I’m not quite firing on all cylinders. Allotment this morning and faced with the usual dilemma of hot weather and people still away.
Hope everyone has a good day. Best wishes to FGT who is now back with us thank goodness.

GrannyGravy13 Tue 08-Jul-25 08:28:17

Good morning from a sunny corner of S E Essex.

Bellasnanna I am so sorry to learn of your predicament with Buzz, what an awfully sad decision for you, sending you both (((hugs)))

Nothing planned for today, will see what happens. Redcar I might even pootle over to Hyde Hall.

MaryDoll (((hugs)))

FGT2 I hope today is more highs than lows 😘

merlotgran Tue 08-Jul-25 08:41:41

Bellasnana. Whatever the vet says, you know your dog. If Buzz is telling you he’s had enough you will be making the right decision. 💐

Kalu Tue 08-Jul-25 08:46:55

Enjoy your meal baubles. I had the venison. 👍

Grammaretto Tue 08-Jul-25 09:01:12

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. A sunny day. 🌞

I had to drive across Edinburgh yesterday to collect heavy things. I am trying to get the flat ready to let so am replacing a few essentials, and more clay for pots. I walked along the prom at Portobello but there was a bitter wind.

I hope you have your hearing attended to soon MD What with the flood in the church and your other ailments, I think you put up with an awful lot.

What a difficult decision you're left with Bella. Pity both vets weren't giving the same advice.
I know when I had to make the decision about my cat. She hadn't eaten for days, was very old and had kidney failure so the vet told me it would be kindest to say goodbye.

I have a hair appointment and plenty of things to do. .. and there's tennis.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Susan56 Tue 08-Jul-25 09:03:28

Good morning from Shropshire.A cooler start today.

Have only just woken up after our lovely but busy day yesterday so will read the thread later.

Hairdressers this morning then over to Cheshire for lunch out and then visit mum.

Wishing everyone the best day possible🌻🦩
