Did anyone else feel completely lost as an executor?
Coul you live on a cruise ship
Good Morning Everyone,
Its bright with some cloud here in brackley at the moment.
Today, a change of routine, I have a visual fields test at the Horton in Banbury early afternoon.

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny 🌞 Northampton, another lovely day ahead and a pleasant temperature.
Yesterday was also lovely, bedding washed and on the line before lunch. A good health walk in the afternoon; I managed to pop to the vets and pick up the cats' medication during the walk, only a slight detour, and I rejoined the group for coffee and chat afterwards. Friends kindly gave me a lift home.
Made up the bed when I got home.
Hoping to Hoover upstairs and also do the staircase this morning.
Early dinner then out to the theatre with a friend.
We are going to see Tony Blackburn host 'Sounds of the Sixties'. A live show reminiscing the 60s with memories, film, photos, chat, and plenty of live 60s (of course!) music. I am so looking forward to it!
Thinking of Bellasnana and poor little Buzz, and keeping my finger crossed.
Have a pleasant day everyone.
Harris27 I do hope today passes well for you 🥀 my condolences
Good morning from a glorious bright, sunny and warm corner of S E Essex.
I shall be thinking of you Harris27 💐
Bellasnanna you will know the right thing to do, sending you love and (((hugs))) 🌸🌸🌸
Off to the gym this morning, then a little more clearing out of clothes that I haven’t worn for a couple of years.
Safe journey to all our travelling GM friends

Good morning from an overcast Wales.
It seems to be permanently windy where we are staying making it not very pleasant to sit out.
Yesterday the three teenagers went cycling, one of them fell off but was not seriously hurt.
DS, DIL and I went to a 1950s museum which was amazing. I loved reliving my childhood.
During the afternoon we visited Bodnant Gardens, it was sunny and we had a pleasant walk.
Today is a rest day for me while the others go to Llandudno.
Have the best day you can.
Good morning everyone from Cambridgeshire.
Today is our 48th wedding anniversary. I feel very thankful we are celebrating this together.
I have a pedicure booked for this morning and then we are off to watch our lovely 11 year old granddaughter in her school leavers play. It is Sleeping Beauty and she is the fairy godmother.
Tonight we have booked an Italian restaurant for a meal together.
There are so many of you all with sadness and difficulties at the moment and just want to send strength and support to all. Don’t want to name in case I miss someone out. Thinking of you all 💕 Have the best day you can today
Happy Anniversary GrannyIvy 🥂 enjoy your day.
Happy anniversary to you and your husband GrannyIvy 🥂🍾
GrannyIvy happy anniversary to you both.
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. I'm all dressed in short trousers and t shirt and it looks dull and chilly out.
Never mind. Yarn group, glazing pots, community lunch and a volunteer meeting this afternoon.
I managed to finish the online food safety course so will be allowed to work in the kitchen again 😀
I'm very disappointed that only one of my DC is now coming to my party on Saturday. Lucky I've asked a few friends. Friends are great.
Sorry gMattie that you have lost your df.
Harris
A sad time for you and for Bella having to make that decision.
Hoping everyone has some joy today.
Good morning everyone from cloudy Lancashire. Although it was sunny for some hours yesterday we’re still awaiting the promised wall-to-wall sunshine.
Yesterday MrB and I enjoyed our usual walk down to the dock gates, then went to a nearby waterside pub for lunch. I had fish, chips and mushy peas which were delicious. MrB had macaroni cheese. They do a “lighter bite” option that is around half the size of a regular portion and suits me perfectly.
Condolences on the loss of your friend GrandMattie.
I hope today goes well Harris27.
Happy Anniversary GrannyIvy.
A tough time Bellasnana, it’s never an easy decision to make.
Thinking of our poorly Grans and families, as always.
Have the best day you can everyone 🌹
Happy Anniversary GrannyIvy
Condolences Harris
Thank you all. X
Good morning all. We had a lovely day yesterday playing tourists. We had a quick trip up the A9 , well not that quick as there are average speed cameras all the way, to the House of Bruar. We treated ourselves to a fish and chips, one between as as they were very generous portions, sitting outside in the sunshine. A rare treat for us. We had a wander round Bruar admiring all the lovely expensive items on offer but managed to resist. All I came away with were four reduced pork and apple burgers and a packet of Westray oatcakes! We then sat outside again with a coffee just relaxing and people watching.
We then joined the Perthshire Tourist route through Aberfeldy with a stop, then through the Small Glen admiring to begin to flower purple heather to Crieff and from there home to Dunblane. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep.
Grandmabatty I like the macaroni cheese at Torwood, Dh doesn’t like macaroni cheese at all.
Llfl we thought Lucerne was lovely. Were you up in the double decker cablecar?
Thoughts are with those with problems to face.
Scapa that trip sounds absolutely lovely and doable for me. I've never had the macaroni cheese at Torwood . I did buy a very nice handbag there on Friday though!

Good morning from sunny south Glos, a warm day ahead.
I sorted out part of the back garden yesterday, cutting back some plants, brushing up and generally pootling around. Very happy with my efforts so more today before it warms up.
I’ve developed a horrible itchy rash on my chest and arms, it started on Sunday and is keeping me awake at night despite using anti itch cream and taking an antihistamine. I have no idea what has caused it but it is rather unpleasant and uncomfortable. I guess if it doesn’t start going soon I need to attempt to see a GP.
Anyway, another quiet day for me, I hope all goes well for you all 🌹
Sorry to hear about your rash. It must be really uncomfortable, especially in the heat.
I’m sure you already know this, but your chemist will be able to advise you on the rash. He/she will have a space where they can examine you without the world seeing!
I have lost count of how many Drs’ visits I have avoided by asking my chemist for advice. 9 times out of 10, he can deal with most minor problems but will always advise going to the doctor if my problem is outside his remit.
It is always worth building up a relationship with your pharmacist. I have been using mine for years and he knows me and my issues well.
By the way, I could be wrong, but could your itching be a reaction to the plants yesterday? It would be worth mentioning to the pharmacist that you were gardening.
Hope it clears up soon.
Rosesandlilac it couldn't be shingles, could it? Definitely seek medical advice
Apologies, RosesandLilac……I have just seen that you gardened yesterday but your rash started at the weekend, so the garden wasn’t the cause! I really must read posts more carefully!
Good morning from West Sussex by the sea. It is a lovely morning here but I am stuck inside with a UTI and no energy. I hope the antibiotic I started yesterday evening will sort it. I am more than usually anxious as it was this time last year that I ended up in hospital with a severe infection. DD1 is coming over so that will cheer me up.
I am sorry to read of the bereavements that several GNers have suffered recently. I hope your brother’s funeral goes well, Harris, and you will be able to share your memories of him with other family and friends.
Bellasnana 🥀
Marydoll, I fear we are all the same when it comes to our own aches and pains - my sympathy to your poor DH and to you!
Must go and check the fridge for cold drinks for DD. Enjoy sunshine and holidays, those who can.
Also condolences to Harris27
Happy Anniversary to you both GrannyIvy 🥂
