Good morning all from dry and bright north Wales- I so love this 🌞 weather where garden cushions can be safely left out overnight 🤗 tis the littlest things that make me happy eh!

Belated anniversary wishes to the GrannyIvys and 🥂 for any other celebrations that slipped my eye - all this bluddy 🎾 is stopping me from doing anything after lunch!

Condolences to Harris 💐 sadness at losing a sibling x. Hope you’re coping Bellasnana with your tough heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹 decision with Buzz.

Some 🪡 this morning for me - a friend’s dresses need taking in (I should be that lucky 🤬) and I’m repurposing a linen tea towel into a bread bag for my new bread bin - there’s posh I am😉

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning from a sunny and bright midlands.
Shopping then lunch with a friend. Mood lifted this week as I head for Bonny Scotland this weekend. Staying with friends. Feel good.

Ladyleftfieldlover - enjoy and thanks for the lovely photos.

Hugs to all suffering.

Morning all from Germany. We arrived here overnight.

Here are some photos of the view we had yesterday from 6000 feet above Interlaken. We’re going to the Black Forest today.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Good morning from a sunny, warm Bristol. I’m not looking forward to the heat today. Fortunately, I have nothing planned today.
Yesterday’s meeting went well. It became clear that our newly retired manager was floundering and managing to do less and less.
The area manager, rather than appearing to waffle, seemed more assured in his assessment of the chances of a new resident manager. The general attitude of the residents was that, since the on-site manager/warden is notto be contacted outside their hours except for fire or flood, it was pointless having one on site. We are to have a secret postal ballot re, resident/non-resident manager. I don’t think we’ll get the required 75% for.
Meanwhile, although available to help, we have no one around to catch on rounds or in the office, etc. and no good communication either. A rapid resolution is imperative.
The book group went well too; we were only 6. Our book, “.True Grit”was quickly discussed, then conversation turned to the “Salt Path” revelations.
Today, I have OpenReach coming to connect me to the super duper new Wi-Fi. I have been waiting since March, + no one seemed to know who was doing what, or when. One despairs.
Have a good day all and make sure you stay hydrated and safe from the heat 🥵.
