Chillows are no longer available I believe. I use a couple of gel pads beside me in the bed. They are not as cold as previous ones and they warm up very quickly on contact, but maybe that is because the air is so warm at the moment. I buy them on Ebay.

I tried a Chillow years ago and it caused Neuralgia in my face.

Try a dog cooling mat, I’ve found them to be better and cheaper. I just put one for a large dog, folded over, in a pillowcase. When it was really hot last week, I froze a hot water bottle and had the second dog cooling mat on top of it, then swapped them over when the first one got warm. It worked really well, when your head is cool the rest of you is too.

I was at the Great Yorkshire Show and a chap was there with pillows. I was really taken with one he was demonstrating. It had a cooling side and a normal side, had a zip in the side so you could adjust the height.
Unfortunately we were travelling by train and had luggage or I would have bought one.
I have trawled the Internet but cannot find said pillows anywhere.

I used to use a Chillow (? sp) years ago, but our cat punctured it! It was very effective up until then!

I hate having a hot pillow and keep turning mine over to try and keep it cool. Has anyone tried cooling gel pillows or similar which can be brought on Amazon?
