Enjoy your Mondays Mel1967, you’ve earned that extra day, and I’m sure you’ll find lots to do. 😊

Never mind what to do on Mondays, just think how much nicer Sundays will be knowing you haven’t got to prepare for Monday.

i was made redundant into early retirement. In the first 4 months I started a university course in a subject I loved and moved house. I didn't have time to think about the transition. I was too busy.

I was lucky enough to have a phased retirement from NHS. The first month I had 4 day week. The second 3 day week, The third a 2 day week etc Eventually, I became fed up of having to go in once a week. It really eased me into retirement. Apparently, it's a good thing as abrupt stopping is not great for ongoing mental health.
Enjoy your days off Mell967.

Just had a email from my manager, to confirm that I can reduce my hours from 5 days to 4 days.

Going to have Monday off.

Now what to do on a Monday šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’”
