Sudocreme is good, but I find it dries my skin. I've been using this product by NUXE. It has honey in it and is calming. I get a sunburnt face easily, but I also get a wind burnt face, and a scratchy pillow face, so I'm guessing my skin is ultra sensitive.
You cannot expect moisturiser to protect you from sun damage. Surely everyone knows to keep out of the sun from 11am to 3pm. Walk on the shady side. Stay indoors as much as possible. Apply 5 star SPF 50. Liberally. And repeatedly. Use a wide brimmed hat. Finding it hard to take this query seriously. None of this is secret knowledge. Skin cancer is increasing and well publicised.
Bath your face with cold black or green tea . Then after drying very gently apply some Sudocream. The lavender oil in Sudocrean is fantastic for burns .
I know the best thing to to do is wear plenty of high factor sun screen in the first place, but I always end up getting a little too much sun when I am out and about, particularly on my forehead and nose. Looking for recommendations for good facial moisturiser to take on holiday.
