A couple of weekends ago we visited the National Theatre to see Nye, a play based on Aneurin Bevan and his large part in establishing the NHS.
It was a very well put together production, very interesting and highlighted just how much has changed, yet also how little has changed and how little we’ve learnt from our own history!
Highly recommended and I’m going to order the book written by his wife, Jennie Lee, two highly influential true socialists.
