U.K. seasides !

The South Wales beaches, including Gower are wonderful, and most not overly commercialised.

I love Wells on Sea and Old Hunstanton. Also love Southwold. These are our closest beaches so the ones we visit regularly.

Wells next the sea, north norfolk.
Fantastic Beach,goes out miles when the tides out.

Oh yes, I love it!

I’m a fan of wilder beaches, with no or very little commercialisation. It’s hard to choose, but either Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower, or Barafundle Bay in Pembrokeshire. I also love Studland.

Lots of gorgeous beaches in England and Wales I would be hard pressed to choose one. We had a wonderful week here in Bigbury on Sea, Devon a couple of weeks ago, I loved the beach with views of Burgh Island made famous by Agatha Christie.

I’m lucky to live in Margate, Kent & about 5 minutes walk from the beach.

We have fantastic beaches, here in Thanet.

The best time is on a bleak Winters Day & there’s no one else around, just me & the dog. Lovely

Pembrokeshire has fabulous beaches.

I don’t know northern English beaches although I would
love to visit the Northumberland area.

I’d love to visit Frinton on sea again, although at 15 years old I despised it. Wet Wittering will always be a family favourite, occasionally coming up trumps and not being wet at all.

Filey, beyond the coble landing up towards the Brigg. Children (of all ages) adore it for safe bathing, wonderful rock pools and the odd fossil if you’re lucky. It was DH’s favourite place.
We also liked Sheringham and Overstrand in Norfolk.

Lytham in Lancashire

We were very taken with Filey.

Weymouth in Dorset and Tenby in Wales - both lovely soft, sandy beaches. 🏖️🏖️

All the seaside places in Northumberland. Fowey in Cornwall is beautiful. Looe where we were last month. Whitby. Lots more, I couldn't choose.

Lyme Regis. Sandy town beach, and safe for swimming, plus the other stretches of beach, with all those fossils….

Frinton-on-Sea !!!

Broadstairs. Sandy beach, picturesque harbour not too overexploited.

Brighton but not for the pebbly uninviting beach; it has a great vibe all of its own.

Marske in North Yorkshire

Any Yorkshire beach where there is usually just one man and his dog there 😁
