.... that does not have steep steps down to the beach .... anyone local who might be able to share their knowledge? I am looking to go to the seaside but can't do clattering. All ideas gratefully received.

I have picked Aberporth as it has shops etc in walking distance but is not noisy.

Not clattering.... clambering.

Saundersfoot is good, I’ve seen wheelchairs on the beach there, and it’s got shallow ramps to make it easier to get onto the beach.

Black Rock Sands at Porthmadog, you can even take the car on.

Blackrock is a huge beach, it can be very popular. Porthmadog is close by. If you like steam trains there’s an interesting round trip from Porthmadog station to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Porthmadog also has an attractive harbour. Thinking about it there are a lot of ground floor holiday apartments around the harbour with super views. We had one a few years ago, allocated parking by the entrance. A small patio. One of our best breaks. The main shopping street is also fairly flat. Close to Blackrock.

Agree that Saundersfoot is also a flat access. Pendine is another beach accessible to cars if not usually quiet.

We also found Broadhaven, Abersoch and Poppit Sands to be easily accessible. My personal favourite is Abersoch.

Hope you find one you like the look of Lucky.
