Room by Emma Donoghue.
It didn't change my life, as such, but it is a book that stayed with me long after I finished reading it. It's very well written from the perspective of Jack. Its starts on his 5th birthday. Some parts may be a bit hard going to read, but it is one that you definitely can't put down once you start reading it.
My favourite childhood book that fuelled my love of animals is Charlotte's Web. I still live this book today.
Am I being taken for granted, or is this just what being a grandparent is today?
More self checkouts being allocated
