I have a bit of trouble with my feet but do like, if possible, to talk a daily walk up a steep lane in our local wood. In the winter I wear walking boots but during the summer I have been wearing my tie up pump shoes which I was informed today by my chiropodist to go back to wear my walking boots which I keep in the area between my two front doors. They are very old etc but even so to my surprise they have been stolen.
Just makes me realise how desperate some people are today to take smelly old shoes that did need replacing
