We have 2 beautiful turned wooden ones. Must be at least 30 years old but can't remember where they came from. Same as everyone else bananas in one bowl and a couple of days of mixed fruits in the other. Soft fruit stays in the fridge. We used to have a banana hanger too which was better I think until it somehow got broken!

FranP - I too use a glass trifle dish and put bananas separate. I dropped a bag of clothes at charity shop this morning and there were several glass trifle dishes.

I had a beautiful crystal fruit bowl - now where on earth is it 🤔

I keep berries and soft fruit in the fridge. Apples, pears, bananas and tangerines in a fruit bowl. I use a woven metal one which holds all the fruit but because it’s a semi open bottom allows air to circulate so fruit lasts longer. Not sure where it came from as my daughter bought it

I use a 2 tier cake stand so it keeps it somewhat separated

Charity shops often have lots of them

I started putting bananas in the fridge and they are perfectly fine. The skins go black but the fruit is actually unchanged. I too put enough fruit for a couple of days and the rest goes in the fridge.

I use a glass trifle dish, and have a banana hanger. Suggest asking in the charity shops

We have grapes in a bowl on the kitchen table for nibbling. Bananas on a tree and the rest in the fridge.

I use a small bowl in which I put as much fruit that i will eat in 2days the rest in the fridge it keeps so much longer. Bananas kept separate from everything else.

I found a nice large fruit bowl in a local shop. I keep some fruit in the fridge but others in the bowl. Not really a problem.

I've always grown up with a fruit bowl. Now I can't seen to find one big enough. Do people keep their fruit in the fridge. I know bananas are supposed to be separate. Grapes I keep in the fridge especially during this hot spell.
I don't like the basket fruit bowls and everything else I've seen classed as a fruit bowl the fruit is stacked on top of each other. (It was as I was growing up) But it doesn't seem to last as long perhaps that's the problem. What do you all do. I'm in the UK but welcome any comments.
