Working in someone else's home
Robert Kenyon, Reform's candidate for Makerfield. Would you let him in your house?

Good morning all and we have dry warm weather here in Essex. I’m a bit jealous of those who have rain.
Of course rain is forecast the end of the week when we go away! 😤.
Yesterday I was very productive. Painted the garden gate, lots of household jobs got done. Once I’m off and running I’m ok - it’s just getting going that’s the problem.
Today I must go to the surgery and order more eye drops and pop in at the charity shop with the stuff I de-cluttered yesterday.
This afternoon I have Bridge club.
Take care all and I hope it’s a better day for all those in sick bay.
FGT 💐.
Good morning from a dull northwest coast. My car, which failed its MOT, is going into the garage this morning for the repair to get it through.
I have the usual music club this afternoon and will take a bus. I’m not going to sing as I haven’t prepared anything after being away and also not feeling 100%.
Thoughts to baubles💐
baubles ❤️
Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s a bright and sunny start to the day
Baubles thinking of you and your family today 💐
I’ve another busy day ahead, a trip to the gym for an aerobics class this morning, a quick coffee with a pal then home for an online volunteering session this afternoon. After that I’m hoping to get outside in the garden for a while
Safe travels home Ash and everyone else on the move today
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐
Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s raining. I’m off to the hospital mid morning to sit with my darling man.
I’ve just popped in really to wish Beechnut many happy returns of the day. 🥳

Good morning Mick and everyone from grey, damp Carlisle. It has rained overnight which I'm happy about, it saves me watering and my burgeoning potato plants need it. I'm really interested to see if I can get some decent late autumn spuds, I've never tried this before
Yesterday was a quiet one, spent largely at the computer and, later, sitting in the garden. It was hot! The neighbours were also out, enjoying the day in their various ways.
Today, I'm shortly off to Newcastle by train to see my physio. I would drive but am too wimpy to face the fast dual carriageways within the city, there's no regard these days for drivers who don't know the city well and aren't sure of their exits.
A challenging and very sad day, Baubles, I hope all goes as well as it can in the circumstances.
Good morning from an overcast NE. Forecast is for rain, not arrived yet.
Yesterday was a lovely warm day and I sat in the garden reading most of the day. When I did go indoors I fell asleep on the sofa for two hours, I was cross because I thought I wouldn't sleep when I went to bed.
Today we are having our road resurfaced so no vehicle access.
Thinking of FGT and poorly people.
Good morning. Back to full skies this morning so different from the beautiful weather yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Barnsdale Gardens.
I am feeling a little wobbly today so a quiet morning in the house and maybe a short walk and some art this afternoon.
Thoughts with those of you who are sad or poorly. Wishing all a good day.
Good morning from a warm and sunny S E Essex.
We have builders here yippee!
I have to re-check all my paint choices (I am doubting myself)
Will read your posts in a spare minute as I also have The imp here as DD is back at work from today. 🙋♀️
Good Morning from a still, heavily overcast Durham, where there’s a chance of a light shower, before the sun breaks through.
I’ve a foot and leg massage booked to try to help my feet - they’ve been sore and ‘uncooperative’ since May and my calf muscles are shortening and tight.
Later, a chap is ringing to discuss my tv signals, or rather lack of them! I hope he can help, especially with Sky who I’ve found absolutely useless.
Marydoll I hope you are wrong and your appointment is more than just box-ticking!
💐Baubles
Best wishes to all. X
Good morning from Shropshire.A mixed forecast today.
I finally have the ok to go out so am going to my balance and stretch class this afternoon and then hopefully to Sainsbury’s.Living the life!
Marydoll, I hope the appointments go well today🙏🏻
A difficult day for you and your family baubles, my thoughts will be with you💐
FGT💐
Hoping Blossoming is feeling better today.
Wishing safe travels to Ash and all on the move and hope everyone has the best day possible🦩🌻

For you ❤️
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. I can't judge the weather but yesterday turned out very hot. I was too busy and forgot to hang out the sheets until 3pm but they dried except one which flew onto the newly dug over veg patch.
I had the dubious honour of choosing a winner from over 50 entries to the annual art competition.
I wanted to give them all prizes. Signatures were hidden but I recognised some from their styles.
There'll be a chance for the public to vote once the exhibition is in place next week.
Today I have to go back to the hospital the far side of Glasgow from me where I had my hip replacement. Something odd has
been going on and they are going to
investigate. I've booked a train.
I shall wave Marydoll 👋
Thinking of you today Baubles
Happy birthday to Beechnut 🎂 🍷
Good morning everyone from a very grey and overcast Northampton, rain is forecast later.
Yesterday was glorious, got a nice load of washing done, and spent the afternoon in the garden.
I attacked the massively overgrown buddleia, got three quarters of it done, and then had to stop as the pollen/dust was getting into my throat and making me.cough.
I then retreated to the pergola with the weekend newspapers and a Seville Orange gin and tonic, and enjoyed the lovely sunshine.
Pottering this morning, then an early lunch, and out to the cinema, where I am meeting a friend; we shall be watching 'Emma', and have a lovely two hours of Jane Austen.
I shall get a Bolognese out of the freezer for my dinner, and will then just have the pasta to cook - on the other hand I quite fancy a macaroni cheese, and also have a couple in the freezer so perhaps a change of plan...
Thinking of our dear friends going through so much and wishing them the strength to bear it.
Good morning all from a cloudy south coast. Allotment with the gang this morning.
It’s so hard but stay strong, FGT
Grammaretto, I hope the get to the bottom of things.
That was an unintentional pun.
If I had felt better, I would have come across the bridge and met you.
A celebration of the life of a neighbour who was a good friend to many this morning so a sad but positive event to look forward to. Have actually dug out a skirt for the occasion!
Thoughts with all our posters having a tough time and hoping Md gets something useful from her consultation.
Good morning from Cheshire where early rain has cleared and the sky is blue with few clouds. I knew it was wet earlier because my little cat jumped onto the bed at 5am and wrapped his soaking wet furry self around my arm. He is very much an outside cat, even in the rain, but comes in to be towelled off if he gets too wet - which is why I keep an old towel over the head of my bed. I still don’t understand how he trained me to do that.
I am going to spend the morning getting my garden winter ready, cutting back the lavender and some shrubs. I dearly want to cut back the buddleia, which I regret buying, but the butterflies are still flocking to it so I will leave it alone for now.
This afternoon I will finish the little jacket I am knitting from some surplus yarn and hopefully have it finished in time for me to take it to the charity shop tomorrow.
Quite a relaxed day ahead. I wish good things for you all.
Good Morning from a grey but warm East Sussex coast.
The painter and decorator is here today to repaint my wooden porch and front door. As I will be in the house, I will continue with my big abstract watercolour painting today - seems appropriate!
Hope everyone has a lovely day and very good luck to those managing difficult health.
Good morning from South Lanarkshire, cool and damp so as this is my overnight in Giffnock I think a raincoat may be sensible.
This is when travelling only by public transport can be tricky and I do miss the car. Factoring in what you can wear is a complication I didn’t foresee.
I crept out at 11 o’clock last night and put my bins out by torchlight only to realise this morning that collection day is tomorrow. This in spite of a growing number of reminders on my fridge door. Oh dear.
I’m looking forward though to getting back into my weekly childminding routine, I love the hands on time I still have with my youngest two DGC.
Good wishes to everyone especially those facing a hard day x
Another quiet day for me today. I struggled with eating yesterday, and I was getting ready for bed when I vomited everything I had eaten without warning. Fortunately I was stood in front of the bathroom sink, so easy to clean up!
It’s going to be a hot one here and I am stuck in bed again. MrB has been to the supermarket and is now going to the village butcher. The thought of eating is putting me off.
Thinking of all dealing with problems and ill health.
Good morning from a breezy Co Armagh
I’ve been up for ages , nothing on the planner so I think I’ll sit and watch another repeat of Homes Under the Hammer 😎
Enjoy the day
