Has anyone watched this?I turned off after 10 minutes. It's hard to understand why netflix let this be made. It has a massive staff in the credits and must have cost a fortune.

I do know of a group of girls who watch with a bottle of wine and regard it as a comedy.
Fess up Anniebach you’re one of them aren’t you?🤭

I can’t, I joined Netflix when they were covering The Aberfan Disaster in the Crown, was so angry with it I cancelled after one hour I couldn’t pay them now .
I do enjoy the giggles when some of the girls tell me of her antics, they mock her, Megan with a South Wales accent is rather funny

I don't have any time for either of them and won't be watching the Netflix offering.

I would point out though that there's a lot of misconception about their desire for "privacy". There was never any mention of privacy in their original step down statement, just that they intended to carve out a financially independent future. (Clearly minus the millions involved in supplying them/not supplying them with security hmm).

They’re a real pair aren’t they? Well suited.

If they divorce I can’t imagine any woman wanting to marry him. He’s shown us all what he’s really like, carefully covered up for years by the family. Meghan is the best he could get. They’re well suited in terms of personality.

Sure to be another who wants the front pages. Megan grabbed them when she was 36/37, that speech in S.A. when on an official tour, “I am your sister”, to a crowd of women , cringe, cringe, cringe

If they divorce and he remarried there would be two Duchess of Sussex Megan wouldn’t give the title up and 2nd wife will share the title.

If he was again a working royal he would be front page and overdoing his role ,
Could he leave his children in America? More front pages to come of those two

Interesting. I agree with the above.

I was delighted when he seemed happy. Then… I realised that the Duchess of Windsor was wonderful! At least, she was loyal to the crown, unlike MM who made everything about herself and couldn’t bear the fact that Catherine Wales outranked her.

I think you have hit the nail on the head👍

I have no idea what she will do, but I do know that I do not want Harry back here as a working member of the royal family.
Reconciliation with his father yes, but no public duties.

Meghan is trying very hard to reset her narrative. Unfortunately for her, people have long memories. Quite apart from how she behaved in her short time in the Royal Family, she doesn’t have a good reputation in her home country either, hence the mediocre guest list. She needs the money I suspect so she can cast off her handsome fox, as she calls him, as soon as she is assured she can go it alone and make the billions she craves. I suspect that will be a long time coming, if ever! One thing she does need is an urgent visit to Specsavers…handsome fox 😂😂

It is pretty hard to understand what he can offer her now that he's not a working member of the Royal Family, but she wasn't prepared to work within it so that's that.

I was also quite prepared to like her and think that it could all work out in the beginning, but the more her behaviour was revealed the less I could believe this. I always remember hearing that she made a fuss when the Queen said that she couldn't borrow the tiara that she wanted for the wedding, she couldn't understand that she was just a very small cog in a machine that has run well for years - and would not have the starring role after her wedding day. Perhaps her sense of entitlement even stretched to equality with Catherine's role.

Whilst I wouldn't wish a divorce on anybody, I can't see that they have a future together as Harry has no career. Perhaps she will go back to being a soap actress, I don't see her homemaking business making her billions.

I don’t have Netflix, if I did I wouldn’t watch her. I was one ofthe few who didn’t trust her and certainly did not like her.

It was perfectly obvious watching their engagement interview what sort of character she was. She isn’t a good enough actress, unfortunately for her. It was slightly bewildering to see so many people desperate to like and defend her when she was so obviously an unpleasant character. Happily over time the scales have dropped from people’s eyes and most people now see her as she really is. I certainly know quite a lot of women who sensed it right off the bat, but it took men a bit longer to cotton on!

I don't have Netflix, but I saw (some ) of the reviews; not favourable. Apparently she is making chips, known as crisps to the British, and the cookery writer made them; cost a fortune, very fiddly, no better that a packet of Tyrells and cost something like £22 for the products; powdered white wine vinegar so they won't go soggy!
But of course she has an expensive husband to support.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Sat 30-Aug-25 12:57:49

I don’t mind Meghan. I was delighted (at first) that Harry was marrying her and bringing her into the RF. a true breath of fresh air I thought. Then events moved on and they left for Canada wanting ‘privacy’. Hmm. After that I found I had zero interest in them. No animosity just disinterested. So no, I shan’t be watching this Netflix production.

keepingquiet Sat 30-Aug-25 12:46:56

Criticise all you like but if you're watching you're paying...and Netfix and Meghan are raking it in...

hollysteers Sat 30-Aug-25 09:16:50

It’s a Meghan love fest and she’s that very bossy girl I would make a point of avoiding.

Anniebach Sat 30-Aug-25 08:01:43

Sorry, I meant the criticism doesn’t trouble her, she is making money and has cameras

Jaxjacky Sat 30-Aug-25 07:49:46

It’s Meghan.

Anniebach Sat 30-Aug-25 07:35:44

keepingquiet Sat 30-Aug-25 07:04:42

It doesn't matter to netflix if people think she's a joke- they're still getting the money from people watching it.

MadameFeuveral Fri 29-Aug-25 21:58:09

All the money and expertise thrown at this, and that’s the best she can come up with. She’s so phony and fake it’s unreal. It’s hysterical 😂

keepingquiet Fri 29-Aug-25 21:41:44

They made it because they thought it would make money.
