Every morning and evening I go through the palaver of removing and replacing cushions on our bed, every bed in the house has a cushion arrangement!
It always seems a shame to throw them on the floor each evening and then there’s the huffing and puffing when my husband tries to replace them in the morning but gets it hopelessly wrong.
Do you fiddle and faff with cushions or could you not give a flying fig?
Pictures please.

I have boxes of MiL's lace, crochet . tray cloths. They make pretty cushions I am running out of ideas of what to do with such a lot of lace and trims. I have several strips to go on the end of pillow cases
Milest0ne I have a duvet cover where the top layer is all lace
A tablecloth in the middle with the plain centre covered with other hand made lace.
It's really lovely.
The back is plain white sheeting.
It's actually quite heavy so not a "summer" cover really.

Most of my pieces are small, cushion size, but I might be able to mix and match to make a larger size Thank you for the idea.
I don't have any cushions myself but often make them as presents for family and friends on special occasions.

Loving all the pictures, it’s so nice to share a little bit of ourselves.
As UtbB has said we form an impression of various posters and the glimpse behind the front door can surprise, in a good way of course.
I agree, Laura. It's lovely. Thank you all.
Those cushions are lovely Twopence.
I am totally useless with a needle and thread.
Can sew on a button but that is it.
At 88 I am still trying to figure out if I have any particular talent at all.
How sad is that.
Sometimes, when a post amuses me, I look to see who wrote it, and it’s often you! So I would say you have a talent for humour, and that’s a really good talent to have! 💐

I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up, Usedtobeblonde!
I'm a bit younger than you, though
When I find out I shall let you know but thanks for the posts.
Sometimes I am a bit low but happy chatty threads like this give me a real boost so thank you oreo for starting it.
I'm a fan of Oor Willie, want to get the picture of this for hallway
pbs.twimg.com/media/Gz6AuPEXoAAPDd4?format=jpg&name=small Doggy - Bought from a charity shop for £2.00!

The Robin is never used, it just sits on my drinks cabinet!
I love all 3 of them!

I’d like to claim the accolade but it was Sago who started the thread🤭

I’m late to this thread but thought I’d show my spare room as 5he place was an absolute nightmare last year with a sofa bed being dumped with all homeless items!
Keeping it made up and neat is a doddle now - woe betide Mr PG ‘forgetting’ …
What a very pretty and inviting bedroom! Any guest would be lucky to stay there. And in Wales too - my favourite place to be. You are lucky!
I am in East Kent looking out at a very rough sea and pouring rain. The ferries on their way to France are ploughing through the wind. I certainly wouldn’t want to be on one! There is a Cruise ship here at the moment, but I wouldn’t fancy being on that either!
Ooh, the sun is trying to come out! Maybe not all is lost!
Thinking of all of you with worries and issues (and that includes me!). Hope the day brings relief, serenity and hope.
Ladies, I love ALL of your gorgeous cushions, and can't decide which is my favourite!
Thanks Crossstitch. My friend stayed last month and was delighted with it (especially as the previous trip was spent on said sofa bed…🤬)
Sincere apologies to Sago
As a way of getting forgiveness I have posted on her new thread this morning.
Beautiful stitch work Twopence . I love the style of your cushions.

That sounds exciting to me!
It is, Allira and I love it. I’ll attach a photo or two!
The weather has perked up no end now! The photos were from a few hours go! That’s what it’s like here…..rough one minute, calm the next!

Thankmyou, I miss the sea , even on grey days ☹
It's very green here, so mustn't grumble.
If it’s any consolation, I had years (until I was 77) yearning to live by the sea, until I finally got here! It was worth the wait but I wish it hadn’t been quite that long!
That’s lovely! Congratulations on winning a prize. It deserves it!
