Morning Mick, morning All. It looks dry out there, a mixed weather day forecast.

Goodness we had some loud storms with torrential rain yesterday, hoping for calmer weather today.

We’ve a free day, not sure what’s we’ll do with it, whatever it is will involve lunch.

That’s a soulful looking Bertie Bellasnana. Hope you all enjoy your trip.

Have the best day you can everyone.

Greyduster: You captured a wonderful photo of that golden moon!

Good Morning fr MS: sunny & 30c.
Bellasnana: What a sweet face Bertie has!

Today is our wedding anniversary. It was so hot on that particular day years ago, that the spun caramel halos encircling our our wedding cake melted...
I'm adding a photo I took yesterday afternoon of a Monarch 🦋 in my garden.
I hope today is kind for everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is just starting to rise in South Yorkshire and hopefully we are going to have a dry day. Yesterday, having had little sleep I didn’t feel like doing a lot but went to the gym in the morning and did a bit of garden tidying later. We had a lot of birds again yesterday including a young wren, which was an absolute joy to see. I do hope it comes back.
GS is expected shortly to spend the day helping me with some jobs, and this afternoon we will cook. Or rather, he will cook and I will supervise!
Last night we had a huge moon. I managed to get a close up with my long lens.
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning from Malta where is another hot, sunny day.

At present I am on the catamaran with DD1, her friend and Bertie dog on our way to Sicily for the day.

Wishing everyone a good day. ☀️

Good morning from Bristol.
I had a fairly busy day yesterday, as I chose the fabrics and block pattern for the baby quilt I’m starting. I went to town in the afternoon to get the remaining backing/edging, etc. fabrics.
I took the opportunity to get myself some new jeans as mine were no longer wearable.
I got caught in a squall on the way home, which eased as I got off the bus. An hour later, it was sunny again, so hung the washed fabrics outside.
Today, I’m going to an exhibition called “threads through creation” with my widowed neighbour at a church near the BBC studios. He told me he loves Sewing Bee, so I thought he would be a good companion. He is one of the nicest, gentlest men I’ve met in a long time; a retired architect who loves choral music.
Do make the effort to see the panels if it comes (usually) to a cathedral near you. It’s really worth it.
I’ve got to bake something for tomorrow’s FAB cafe - coffee and walnut?
I hope that those with mountains to climb find the shortcut. Hugs all round.
