Good morning 🙋‍♀️

We are forecast rain, so of course today is the day the scaffolding goes up across the front of the house 😹

I am keeping out of the way, returning curtains and bedding (wrong colour) going to the gym, then I have booked a manicure, massage and facial.

I spent a couple of hours in a local coffee/tea shop yesterday outside in the sun with my kindle, so peaceful and relaxing.

Bellasnana sounds like a fabulous day 😍

Enjoy your day dear friends 🙋‍♀️

Good morning from a dry Torbay with rain forecast later.

Your Sicily trip sounds like a great adventure, Bellasnana.

I’m glad the exhibition lived up to expectations, grandMattie.

I’m glad the new mattress is proving its worth, RosesandLilac. You need restful nights, especially after your gardening work at the school.

Yesterday at Props we sorted and categorised all the joke and clown items so that should help with finding precise items in future as each box has a complete list of its contents on the outside. Two extended coffee breaks helped the morning along.

Back to the theatre this afternoon as Wednesday Club restarts. I’ve applied to join a Choir locally which plans to perform Bach's B Minor Mass. The Secretary will consult the Chairman to see if they need any more altos. Fingers crossed!

Happy hump day, everyone!🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Today I'm taking 2 chairs to the Salvation Army charity shop, & then checking out a market venue for an event in Oct. My DH is going to the drag races tonite, so it's 🍕 for an easy (delicious) dinner. Hope everyone (esp all those struggling), has a really good day.

Good morning from Shropshire.A rainy day forecast.

Mum was very tired yesterday so not a great visit.I enjoyed the day with DD but she forgets I can’t do as much as her so I was exhausted when we got home.

A day of admin, laundry and house stuff today🙄I’m sure a nap will feature later.

Wishing everyone a good day🦩🌻

Good morning from soggy south Glos, I slept well on my new mattress 👏👏, it’s so much more comfortable! Very happy me here 😊
Off to the dentist for a filling first thing, oh joy……..
Then back to tackle the ironing, I managed to get three lots of washing dried on the line before it drizzled.
I made banana bread, added chopped walnuts and it’s delicious 😋, I rarely bake nowadays so it’s a treat.
Sausage and mash for lunch, onion gravy and peas too, a favourite here. I do get fed up with cooking.
Hugs to anyone who needs them 🌹

Good morning from Malta where we expect a high of 38°C.

Thank you for all your kind comments . It was a very long day yesterday but I enjoyed every minute.

We drove (or should I say DD1 drove) to Savoca where the film ‘The Godfather’ was made. Had a snack in the bar which featured in the film, they certainly make a killing as it was very busy and very expensive but we enjoyed it.

We then went to Taormina - I have lost count of the times I’ve been there over many years - but so many happy memories made there with DH it was good to be back despite it being extremely full of tourists.

We had a long drive back down to Pozzallo from where the catamaran leaves, but we stopped in a pretty fishing village called Marzamemi and had a plate of delicious pasta before a rather hair-raising drive to the port. Dark, unlit roads made me very thankful I wasn’t driving!

Incidentally, the crossing both ways was as calm as a mill pond. The catamaran is huge, very comfortable, and is no different from going on a bus, in fact probably smoother.

I ache all over this morning as we did a lot of walking. Bertie thoroughly enjoyed his day, trotting along like a spring chicken when he’s actually a little old man in dog years!

He’s as good as gold in the car and on the crossing he just curled up in his carrier and snoozed all the way, I can see why he’s no trouble on all the flights he does, bless him.

Enough of my waffling. I hope you all have a good day.☀️

Good morning from Bristol. It has rained during the night.
Yesterday’s trip to see the “Threads through Creation” with my friend, was very successful. H3 is very frail and slow, but game for a good time. It was the first time he’d seen work by this lady. (Of course, im a veteran having seen her exhibition of “threads through st. John’s revelations “ last autumn 😆)
There are 9 or 10 huge panels (I can’t remember) very large and beautifully hung. They are very colourful and exquisitely made. Put your nose against them and you see all the detailed stitching; stand back and you get the big picture. Please do go if they are exhibited in your area. They really are worth the effort. ( corner, I’m looking at you👉)
Today, busyness has returned. Morning prayers, Fab cafe in the morning and book group in the afternoon. Our book was “The Fox” by Freddie Forsyth. Unputdownable. I had to rational my reading.
I hope today brings relief to those in sorrow, pain or trouble.
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning Mick and all who follow- it’s dark and dry here on the north Wales coast with ☔️ promised for the rest of the week - the lawn is greening up nicely after an official drought was declared…🤦‍♀️

Belated anniversary wishes 🥂Peli and love the pics, yours too Bellasnana - hope the trip to Sicily went well, another place Ive not visited…yet!😂

Good to see FGTs getting backup and hope all going through various health woes feel they are being supported as necessary 💐 we cheer you on folks 👏

A trot out to lunch and then cinema to see The Roses is my treat with friends today - I’ve heard the film is amusing and I do like the actors which helps🤗

Have a good day x

Good Morning Everybody ,
Its dark and its wet outside here in Brackley this morning.
My usual routine after breakfast , housework plus getting the bus to Bicester for a shop and meet those I know.
My health is OK, I looked back at my weight chart and I was my average weight 12 months back, as I have cut back on beer drinking this is probably the reason for weight loss.
Take Care,
Mick
