Does anyone have a remedy for aching hand joints? Sometimes it might be finger knuckles sometimes my whole hand. It does depend on the weather and I do have Raynauds. Just hoping that someone might have a clever wheeze!

Try Rhus Tox cream (a homeopathic remedy) or if all else fails I do use Ibuprofen gel on my thumb joint. I find both of these help me.

Would in help an arthritic knee? Have you taken it in tablet form? Where is the best place to get it from? I’m trying everything possible at the moment and it has been mentioned several times.

What’s this tox? What ailments does it cover?

I use Ibuprofen gel and I have Raynauds, it came on just yesterday and it was only slightly chilly!

Hi again - I get my Rhus Tox cream from Helios pharmacy online. It is a homeopathic remedy, and I decided to try it. Since using it, my arthritic joint has eased and I seldom need to use ibuprofen gel for pain.

I'm not sure how it works or whether it will work for arthritic knees. I've only ever used it as a cream but it is available in tablet form too.

Hope this helps 🙂

Thanks. I will try it. It has been mentioned favourably on the forum several times. My osteopath recommended arnica but that doesn’t seem to have such good reviews as Rhus Tox. I might try the tablets as I’m using a tens machine on my knee daily so have to keep it clean and non greasy.

My hands were aching badly after using big heavy tools on my allotment, gorilla bar and so on. Bashing it down and it bouncing back reverberating through my hands

I bought a wax bath from amazon, such a relief. Put one hand at a time into the melted wax and then covered in loose protective gloves. That worked very well

Also can I recommend using anti inflammatory foods.

Try soaking your hands in a bowl of a couple of tablespoons of epsom salts dissolved in hot water. (Not too hot; comfortable)
