Oh R.I.P Robert…🌟🌟🌟. always loved him..as a teenager had a Robert Redford pillowcase 😊.. loved all his films but my all time favourite is Out of Africa

What a gorgeous man he was, can't think of any film that he made that I didn't love

Look up "Heartthrob" and Redford would surely be the answer. Great actor with some impressive films to his name. Don't remember him ever being linked to any scandals or anything untoward.

All the President's Men is one of my favourite films ever.

And who could ever better the Redford/Newman coupling?

RIP.

And Jeremiah Johnson. Another great film. So many. I am going to make a list and watch them all this winter. Some I have on dvd..All the Presidents Men, Out of Africa, 3 Days of the Condor. I have never seen The Way We Were. So that will be a treat.

3 days of the Condor was a really good film with Redford and Faye Dunaway.

RIP Robert Redford, a truly great actor.
I loved him in The Sting and in All the President's Men, but my favourite Robert Redford film was The Natural.

A life well lived. My first thought, too when I heard the news. RIP.

I will always associate him with The Way We Were and that beautiful scene at the end with the soundtrack playing. You are not human if you don't cry when Katie moves his hair and says, "Your girl is beautiful Hubble." When the scene is recreated in my favourite programme Sex and the City I cry all over again.

He was perfect opposite Meryl Streep in Out of Africa - one of my all time favourite films.

Me too 'The Way We Were', funny how many of us have remembered that.

RIP Mr Redford.

Not forgetting The Horse Whisperer. Another tearjerker.

So sad to hear. He has been The Actor of my adult life. A legact of wonderful films. Such a handsome man and seemingly a good man. A good age and surrounded by family in the county he loved. RIP

I had a major crush on Redford especially in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid, though I fancied the pants off Newman as well.
Have watched so many films with him in them, a decent actor as well as good looking.

He was 89, a good age and a fabulous legacy of work, such a handsome man.
