I'm not fancying a Snickers bar today unfortunately!

My H’s favourite chocolate was Chocolate Brazils.
I always bought him a box for Christmas, happy memories Allira thank you.

Not a bar, but around Christmas I love chocolate coated cherries.
M&S are lovely but Aldi do a good version although I don’t get there anymore so I assume they still do.
I think they have liqueur in them but not sure.

Chocolate Brazils! My MIL always used to buy me a box and I love them, don't really buy them for myself.

You should not buy any chocolate bars, they are full of calories, eat a beautiful fruit instead.

Actually, chocolate is derived from the seeds of a fruit, sugar is derived from plants by photosynthesis. 🤔

I actually often count it as 1 of my '5 a day' .

😁

Cheers! 🥂

@hollysteers

I also love Lidl’s chocolate covered marzipan bars. Ours haven’t got them yet, they usually appear with the Christmas stuff some of which is out but no marzipan bars yet.
Am checking every time I go.

I love a Star Bar, especially when it comes in a twin pack! They have a caramel and peanut centre.

Why haven’t I heard of this before? Sounds right up my street.
Are you in the US or Oz?

I am in the UK. Tesco ,Co-op and most corner shops sell them. My local supermarket is Asda, who don't stock them.

Thanks👍🏻😃

Not really got a sweet tooth. Before I was an adult I quite liked revels, bounty, and crunchie bars. The only choc bar I’ve bought as an adult has been plain bounty bars, never anything else. Now discontinued I’ve not eaten a choc bar in years. Now cheese is another matter entirely …. 🙄

You can often buy plain chocolate Bounty in Home Bargains, if I see them I buy a few at a time.😋

Dark chocolate Bounties are no longer made

Nooooooooooooo !

I have solution. Bite the milk chocolate off and dip the coconut into plain chocolate and enjoy. 😉😂

Reminds me of my days living in a sweet shop where we went through absolutely every sweet. I don’t have a favourite but loved a chocolate covered toffee. Milk Maids come to mind. I avoid any toffee now as it’s not so good on the fillings.

I only ever buy the 90% Ecuador dark chocolate bar from Sainsbury's now. It's wonderful, youngest son hates it.

Other chocolate is now too sweet for me. But if offered it [pref. Lindt] I wouldn't say no!

While for me it does have to be turkish delight (yes all three). I do occasionally buy Ms Molly's choc bar from Tesco - what is not to love for 59p!

I am dieting now though, so I buy a plain and melt into shredded wheat flaked.

Has to be Fry’s Turkish Delight for me, but I have to make myself only eat one.
They come on packs of three.

Yes!

mabon2 lighten up🙄

Correction, I meant Lidl’s chocolate marzipan bars.

A bit pricey but any of the Tony’s Chocolonely bars are delicious. Stocked by most of the big supermarkets e.g. Sainsbury’s, Asda.

Brilliant choice!

I buy really good dark chocolate and mix it half and half with a milk chocolate. Melt and spread out thinly on foil. Top with home roasted chopped nuts (air fryer is great for this) and a little sea salt. You don’t need much to satisfy your chocolate urge. Lovely.

Fry's 5 Boys, that takes me back! My dad used to get it for me when he fetched the Sunday papers.
Desperation Pacification Expectation Acclamation Realization - it's Fry's

Nowadays, if I can find it, I love Cadbury's Dark Milk, a halfway house between milk and dark.

Just like UsedToBeBlond, it has to be Fry’s Turkish Delight!
