Good morning all from a chilly North Leicestershire where it is cloudy.

I had a bad night as I can't get comfy sleeping on my back.

Not a lot going on today apart from DH going to the gym and Waitrose.

Have the best day possible all.

Bother, pressed the wrong thingummy.
I managed to nearly finish the baby quilt; just my initials and date to embroider. The pale side is the “right” side, pastel as the parents want; I indulged myself on the back - the colours are brighter than in photo.
The PCC meeting went well last night, but finished quite late; lots of stuff to discuss including the 10% increase in the parish share! How to find it…
The usual busy Wednesday morning then WI quiz in Clevedon in the evening p.
Hugs all round. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from south Glos, it’s a chilly 5° here, clear skies.
I had a lovely morning at a local NT house yesterday with a friend, we walked from the car park to the house through the beautiful parkland and spent a couple of hours just wandering through the gardens. It was glorious sunshine and few people there when we arrived.
I spent the afternoon in my Shed, very peaceful with tiddler for company, listening to an audiobook and knitting.
Today I must do the ironing but nothing else planned. I might do some gardening but while everything is looking reasonably okay I am loathe to start cutting back. There’s still a lot of bees and insects around. It really doesn’t matter if I leave it for another few weeks 😊
Best wishes for you all 🌹

Good morning from Bristol.
I have just woken up! Extremely unusual for me to have more than 5 hours.
Not read any doings yet, but hope all is well with everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dawn is breaking and a soft sunrise this morning. It’s chilly. I slept for seven hours straight - most unusual. Yesterday I finished clearing the rooms for the decorator to come today - and then had a message to say he is not now coming until Monday😫. The rooms he is going to be working in - my bedroom and the sitting room - are now completely empty and everywhere cluttered with stuff except the bedroom I am sleeping in and there’s not a lot of room for manoeuvre in here! It’s the second time he has moved the start date and it’s very depressing. I worked outside most of yesterday just to try and get the discontent out of my system but it didn’t really work.
Writers group at the library this afternoon so it will get me out of the house.
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning from s somerset, a dry bright day today with enough sun to keep the house warm

My tooth pain subsided yesterday, the pain cycle broke and mid afternoon I realised that I could eat and drink without the intense pain and sensititivity. All in all it could have been anything which helped, pain killers, cbd, clove chewing. I do have a slight residual ache after warm water this morning, to keep me on my toes. I won`t be taking anything for granted and bought a few more paracetamol to keep in a drawer. It has been eight long days and nights

I started on some kitchen cleaning yesterday afternoon, scrubbed and oiled wooden chopping boards and so on and sorted an assortment of cloths so I eventually only have various e cloths. I don`t know where the energy came from but it felt good to be back to normal

I have a friend coming mid morning, it will be good to have a chat with her. Then rest continues for the afternoon, the healing process needs all the help it can get

Have a good day

Good morning from Malta where it is cloudy at present with a high of 32°C forecast.

I’m just downing a quick coffee before going over to watch the boys. I will probably bring them back to my place later.

Stilllearning I hope you will love Sicily as much as I do. Which part are you visiting?

Hope everyone has a good day.☀️

Good morning from a dark Torbay where sunshine is forecast with the wind keeping the temperature down.

That’s a very early start for you both, baubles! Families with grandparents nearby who can manage to help with childcare are very fortunate!

Yesterday, while I was at Props, DH spent a few hours in Exeter and was surprised to find visiting the cathedral cost £10, almost double what we paid last year!

Today we are hosting Wednesday Club in the absence of the regular organisers and will review last week's play. I hope some of the cast will attend.

Lovely photos yesterday, GrannyIvy!

Happy hump day, everyone! 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩
