Good morning from a grey, cool NE.
I had sad news yesterday morning, my cousin died in the early hours without regaining consciousness.
I spent some time going through cupboards last night, DS asked me if I still had cameras that used film. GD is studying photography. I found two. I bought her a digital one last year but now she wants to turn the clock back.
A quiet day today.
Have a good day.

Good morning everyone from a grey dry mid Essex. A little less cold overnight, but as the cloud is coming in from the North Sea it won’t be a warm day! Yesterday was sunny and warm out of the wind! I had a quiet day with DD1s dog, who had an upset tummy! The granddaughters were very good when they came home from school. DD1 and her DH came home at about 8.15 so it was a drive home in the dark for me. The first one since March. I’ve several more dog days in October so will have to get used to it.
A food delivery this afternoon and bingo in the village hall this evening, and that’s my exciting day!

ash I hope you have an uneventful journey to Crewe and a good weekend with your family.
sar53 I hope that S will soon be home again, fully recovered, but worrying for you.
Thoughts to those who are struggling in any way.
Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from Malta where it looks very cloudy although no rain is forecast, and the high is expected to reach 31°C.

I woke before 4 am and made a cup of tea since my overactive mind would not allow me to go back to sleep until around 6 am, hence I’m now feeling more tired that when I went to bed!

The boys start school this morning, conveniently for DD3 as they will be at the same school where she teaches, though not in her class.

I confess to shedding some tears yesterday as the end of an era of childcare hit me.😢. I have loved being able to care for them on a daily basis and will miss the routine, and them, very much.

Today I have my hair appointment at noon after which I might go to Lidl. Otherwise nothing planned.

Sar you must be so worried about S. I do hope she will soon be on the mend and you have better news.💐

Safe travels to Crewe, Ashcombe. Hope DH enjoys the exhibition.

Must get going, thinking of you all and wishing the best day possible for all.☀️

Good Morning from a hot, sunny Cyprus.
I hope you had a word of thanks yesterday gM?
Special thoughts to FGT and MD.

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from our hotel in Turkey. Yesterday we went to Fethiye on the water taxi, a very pleasant half our journey.
We had a walk around the old town, had a drink and returned. It was too hot to do much else.
S was re-admitted to hospital yesterday morning. Covid has badly inflamed her lungs. I am very concerned for her.
Thinking of everyone with their own worries, best wishes to all xx

Good morning from a dry Torbay with sunshine promised.

We are travelling to Crewe today to spend the weekend with DD2 and family, partly so that DH can attend a huge Model Railway Exhibition at Stafford show ground.

A busy day for you, Susan56! It’s good that you are feeling well enough to resume your normal life.

Happy weekend, everyone! 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Good morning from s somerset, a decent fairly sunny day today

Certainly it is becoming colder, bit by bit and specially overnight. I put a warmer duvet on my bed yesterday and slept better

Not sure today, I really need to keep on with cycle riding and that may well be my plan for later this morning, when the air warms up

Have a good day

Good Morning fr MS where the forecast is sunshine & 30c. Yesterday we had heavy rain, but it's definitely moved on now. (Hopefully the verandah seat cushions dry overnight, since that's my dhs' favourite escape spot, lol.) I hope everybody has a happy part in their day!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from South Yorkshire where it will be cloudy and cool today. I got up at half past five to use the en-suite and found the cistern was stuck and had been running heavens know how long. I pressed the flush again and it stopped but I am on a water meter so goodness knows what my bill will be. If I had been sleeping in my bedroom I would have heard it but I’m not at the moment. First world problem I know.
I had a nice surprise last evening when my grandson rang me from his university accommodation where he was waiting to get into the kitchen to cook his supper! Apparently it gets quite crowded when they all want to cook at the same time. The conversation was mostly about food, but also about how he has been finding his feet since he arrived last Friday.
I’ve no idea what I’ll be doing today but I will go to the gym early. It was so busy last time I went we were queueing to use the equipment.
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning from south Glos, I’m assuming it’s going to be another sunny day today, such glorious weather.
We had a lovely dog walk yesterday morning, bigger dog enjoyed a chase around with her friend a whippet, and tiddler just did tiddler, pootling around and completely ignoring the other dogs’ antics 😁
Off to art group this morning then a friend is taking me to the Range, somewhere I haven’t been before, in Bristol somewhere. She wants some picture frames, I don’t need anything but you never know!
DH is supposed to be organising a holiday for us somewhere but nothing’s happening so far; I don’t hold out much hope to be honest 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🙄😁
I hope today goes well for everyone 🌹

Good morning from Bristol.
I’m planning on washing my bedding, put it to line dry before I leave for my Spanish class at 9am.
Yesterday was rather busy as I prepared and made 20 pots of mincemeat using the apples I was given. I shred the apples and cook them thoroughly before adding the rest.
I did my Spanish homework in the morning before tai chi.
As I had various bits of shopping, etc., to do before going to DD’s, I set off early. The buses seem to have been perfect as everything, in three different parts of the same route went very quickly and I got to DD’s almost an hour earlier than intended.
Unusually, I had a nice chat to Iris. They were all off for a gig, so I took a bus home rather than DD going in the wrong direction to take me home. The bus driver saw me running for it and waited, bless him.
Spanish today, then a quiet afternoon. I shall try to do very little.
Hugs to all especially MD and the*FGTs*.
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
