At the moment, for me, they are probably
Japanese
Vietnamese and
Thai
I am not keen on Mexican except for some dips like guacamole.

Thai
Greek/Middle Eastern, they have some things in common
British when top quality

I’m not keen on sushi. But the Gdcs love it, so that can be a v quick way to feed them when we’ve been out. Not cheap though!

I find Chinese food to be greasy and tasteless. The MSG gives me a terrible migraine.

English and Indian only, just about OK with Italian!

I can't abide Chinese or any Oriental, and things like Mexican, etc., are far too hot and spicy for me!

Also, I can't abide Mediterranean, Greek and so on, it's oily, greasy and thick!

I'm half and half with Polish, can take it either way.

At the moment it’s
Indian
Italian
Japanese

But I’m very fickle, so that can change in a heartbeat. I just love good food, wherever it originates.

Deedaa Mon 29-Sept-25 22:40:31

Casdon Mon 29-Sept-25 21:59:25

I like anything, as long as cucumber, shellfish or raw fish are not involved. My favourites are Indian, Italian, or Middle Eastern. I’m not keen on Japanese food because it often contains my disliked ingredients.

British, lots of wonderful casseroles, pies, fish and chips and of course roasts.
Mediterranean, soups, risotto, pates, salads, pastas etc.
Indian, I love all homemade curries, dhals, pakora, bhajis, dips and chutneys.

Yom Yom Yom! Me too

Chinese, ever since I enjoyed my first ever Chinese meal in my first year at college when we visited a restaurant in Edgbaston.

Italian but never spaghetti if in company!

Thai for its subtle flavours.

Anything and everything my beautiful Indonesian dil cooks, she really is the most amazing, adventurous cook and makes wonderful food. Can’t wait for January when I go to visit again! Earlier this year when I was there she was experimenting with Korean dishes, excellent!

I do like British pub food but it tends to be the sort of food that I cook at home anyway, so not on my list.

Marmin Mon 29-Sept-25 14:01:57

Greek, middle east.
As a vegetarian for most of my life, French is the worst by a long way.

icanhandthemback Mon 29-Sept-25 13:53:13

Indian, Japanese and Chinese. However, I like most foods as long as they are not too spicy or contain coriander. The latter is the devil's herb to me.

nanna8 Mon 29-Sept-25 13:51:33

Also - you can’t beat British desserts.
