Twiggy’s sunglasses on her head!

Because I only need them for reading mine are constantly on and off my head, my colleague I work with is the same, a few weeks ago I couldn’t find mine anywhere I asked her if she’d seen them, she answered ‘no I haven’t’ as she said it I looked up and at her and said why have you got a pair on your eyes and a pair on your head ? It was so funny

My glasses (distance ones) are on my head.
What better place to keep them when not in use?

I’ve got incredibly thin hair and it’s getting thinner. When I’m not wearing a hat or hair band I often wear sunglasses on my head.

Mine's a ratty mess because I need a haircut but I hate going to the hairdressers.

It's very possible that she was wearing them while driving and forgot about them.

Sunglasses on one’s head has been a thing for as long as I can remember.

I wear my sunglasses on top of my head when indoors as I only wear sunglasses when out in the glaring sun ..

So when indoors a shop for example, I lift and put on top of my head !!

Rosieroe, I am one of those people! I wear glasses but get migraines triggered by sun or bright flashes. When needed, I keep my sunglasses in my head so I can swiftly move them down when the sun comes out again. (Necessary in our changeable weather). I don’t care what I look like, avoiding a migraine is more important.

Wish my hair worked with sunglasses on my head.

I have a nasty habit of putting my sunglasses and other glasses on my head and invariably stretching them. Sometimes also forgetting they are there and then looking everywhere for them.
Didn’t know I was stylish though!

One of the daughters has them on her in the house all the time.

I remember being amused by someone returning their sunglasses to the shop as “they don’t fit my head”.

I sometimes wear sunglasses on my head and they sit very nicely on my up-do. I never put my ordinary specs on my head as they do seem to stretch after a while.

Sunglasses on my head as I send this. Usually pop my ordinary specs up on my head too, when I don’t need them for a while and they do act as a makeshift hairband.

I think it’s been stylish since the ‘60’s with stars like Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie Kennedy.

I too wear sun glasses on my head and have been known to wear another pair on my face by mistake. Currently I need sunglasses as the cataracts cause dazzle even in fairly low sunshine. After watching Twiggys lovely documentary she can do no wrong!

I have reactolite prescription glasses which I often wear on my head. Keeps my long hair off my face especially out walking. Seems I'm stylish!! Who knew 🤣
