Never shaved my legs ( don’t grow hairs on them )

Never plucked my eyebrows (they look fine)

Never shopped in John Lewis or Sainsbury’s s

Never driven or had a car

Never smacked a child

Never smoked or vaped

Learned to swim

Learned to drive

Had children (by my own wish)

Used recreational drugs

Owned a dog or any other pet
Driven a car
Had a lap top
Watched BBC 3
Been on holiday to Benidorm

I have never

Bungee jumped
Ridden on a horse
Sky dived
Parachute jump
Skiing

Won a video game against my sister (or probably anyone else)

Conceived a female child

Enjoyed playing competitive sports as an adult

Visited West Africa

Drawn or painted a museum quality picture (but I will)

Had a lover over 64 years old (but I'd really like to)

We collect our own oysters, and lovely they are. 😋

I have never:
Performed a striptease
Been down in a submersible
Climbed Mount Everest
Taken part in the Olympics games
Swam with sharks

In an effort to encourage myself to be more positive, I've made a list of some things I HAVE done:
I've ridden bikes & climbed ladders, eaten oysters, mussels, lobster, crabs & calamari. I've visited 6 continents & driven round Australia. I did a second parachute jump on my 80th birthday, & got lifesaving medals in swimming. I got 2 degrees & taught English as a second language in university & technical college. I've borne & reared 2 sons & a daughter. Gave up smoking 45 years ago.
Best of all - I'm a great-grandma!

I have never

Had a tattoo
Gone scuba diving
Been on a roller coaster
Eaten an oyster
Watched Game Of Thrones.

I have never:
been to Europe
had a son
eaten calamari.
had a one night stand
been married more than once

I have not yet:

been to Africa
worn a wet suit
grown freesias
kept bees
or learned to sail

All on my ‘to do’ list, so maybe I’ll tick them off in a few years.

Watched Downton abbey
Smoked
Had Kentucky fried chicken
Been in the loft in my old house or in my bungalow.
Owned a cat or dog

Seen or read The Wizard of Oz
Ridden on a motor bike
Sung in a choir
Had a ride in a bit air balloon
Been to Buckingham Palace

Been sawn in half as a magicians trick

Never been sick in the back of a taxi....... made me think of another "never":
despite eating, drinking and carousing my way across London in the 1970s and 1980s I have never been sick on the Tube.......

I'd forgotten some of the things I have done until I read this thread 😀

Had a natural birth (2 emergency C sections)

Played a musical instrument

However , I have
been on a cruise

dyed my hair
stayed in a trullo in Puglia
been on the stage

Trouble with this thread is that it makes me think of things I haven’t done and might have liked to

I have never
Learnt to swim ( afraid of water)

Gone on a cruise ( my idea of hell, sea all around me and surrounded by strangers)

Owned a dog ( wouldn’t hurt them but I’m a cat person, we have 4)

Travelled anywhere in Asia or Africa

Read any sci fi ( but an avid reader of anything else)

I have never:

Waxed my legs (or any other body part)

Dyed my hair

Taken drugs

Got a tatoo

Owned a dog or cat

I have never bungee jumped or abseiled
Water skied or skied on ice
Smoked
Run a marathon
Driven a lorry.

I have never:
Been sick in the back of a taxi
Had a heart attack
Been sawn in half as a magicians trick
Played in a rock and roll band
Made jam

I have done lots of things that other Grans have not but am with the majority on not doing bungees jumps or having tattoos, though I do have pierced ears.

I have never:
Learned to ride a bike
Been divorced
Visited Russia
Seen the Northern Lights
Voted Tory

Or the other hand, I can;
Drive manual, automatic, electric (though I didn't start till 50
Knit and crochet
Speak and read Italian
Do cryptic crosswords
Write books

I'd like to hear what others can do.

I thought I had led a tame life 😂 but so many of the things people say that they haven't done or places they havent been to I have! Its quite cheered me up 😁

Had my own bed (siblings then hubby)

Passed a day without reading
