How about things we HAVE done? I’ll start another thread.

I have never had children (by choice)
Cooked Xmas dinner from scratch (thank God for prepared veg!)
Changed a baby's nappy (good!)
Played bingo
Learnt to drive-anything

5 more things I've never done -

Eaten any offal (never would)
Voted Labour (never would)
Placed a bet
Joined a union
Been skiing (can't see the attraction)

I have never:

Driven on the motorway
Been in my loft
Swum a length of a swimming pool
Been able to crochet (I have tried...)
Taken drugs

I haven't:
- Met a celebrity (even a B or C celeb)
- Blacked out while drunk
- Liked cabbage, leeks, or brussel sprouts 🤢
- Been able to finish reading a biography, just get bored after awhile, maybe not found the right one yet!
- Had to report anything to the emergency services (police/fire/ambulance etc)

I think it a little sad to be proud of things you have never done unless they are bad or illegal!

The things I have never done are things I have not done YET. Life is short, I am working on those things.

It’s not sad at all and in the main we are not proud. One lifetime is too short for all the things there are to do, no one can go everywhere or do everything.

I’ve never smoked
Never climbed in the Himalayas.
Never parachuted ( although I signed up to as a student but was turned away as I was too light for the club parachutes- they said they would have to shoot me down!)
Not visited Antarctica
Not quite reached 70
Not visited Asia
The last 2 may happen!

It’s reminded me of the many things I have done!

I have been reading the thread and have done almost all the things, bar bungee jumping, so really very few things left on my bucket list...

No desire for an affair but can you even call it that if you are widowed? I guess the lover may be married.

I've not stood for Parliament.

I have never:

watched Eastenders
had any body piercing or tattoos
been to South America
eaten jellied eels (ugh at the thought)
bungee jumped

I've never

had a tattoo
had my ears pierced
taken HRT medication
watched an episode of Coronation Street
eaten in McDonald's

I had never had my ears pierced and was never going to then I did it when I was 72. (now80).
It’s never too late!

One or two of the things I haven't done were on the list then Covid came along!
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll manage them now

watched an episode of Downton Abbey
been arrested
lived abroad (still planning to do that)
been shopping in my pjs
got a tattoo (also planning to rectify this!)

Yes, theres time still (hopefully) to do more things.😉

My list would be too long probably- but equally too long to list what i have done i suppose.😁
