Good Morning Everyone ,
Its dark but dry here in Brackley but looks like a dull day .
Up to my usual bus trip to Bicester , I checked my email to have one from BT to say my digital phone and battery charger plus modem are in the postal system .
I have a hello chat with some at Bicester plus one person a wave .
Health OK ,
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from another dull day in Suffolk. How cheery some sun would be but I doubt there will be any today.

I have my stretch class soon and then I’m meeting a dear friend for coffee which usually extends into lunch. We haven’t seen each other for more than 3 weeks now and so we’ll have a lot to catch up with. We always enjoy lots of laughs so I always look forward to an entertaining time with her.

I’ve enjoyed hearing all about Malta as it is at least 10 years since we visited. Lovely reminders about lovely places there.

Hope all have the best day possible whatever your circumstances.

Good morning all and it’s cloudy here in Essex. Same as the rest of the country it seems. It’s so still out there, not a breath of wind.

Today Dh has a hairdressers appointment for a tidy up and we expect the gas engineer this afternoon to give us a quote .
I haven’t been to Bowls for some weeks now as things have cropped up but hopefully will be back by November. Since DH’s stroke, routine has changed but fingers crossed life will improve

I hope you all have a ‘good’ day. 🌻.

Good morning all from a cloudy south coast where sun is promised for later.
Covid jab this morning then my food shop. This afternoon Vodafone have promised to phone me back and hopefully solve my broadband issues. It took an hour to get through to them yesterday! I cannot get my router to work following the outage and they don’t seem to want to get their act into gear. I’m running out of patience now.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone from another dull grey day in Northampton. There seems no end to this miserable weather.

Got so much done yesterday, and felt quite righteous by the time I'd finished. Kitchen cleaned, cats' tray dealt with, floor mopped, plus porch and cloakroom floors; bed stripped and bedding washed and out on the line, and later, bed remade. Sainsbury's delivery dealt with and all put away.
Then in the afternoon a visit from the security firm to check my burglar alarm system, which meant clearing the hall coat cupboard as that is where the main control panel is. Batteries and all room sensors checked and replaced where necessary; he spent a good amount of time on a thorough check.
However he must have left my back door alarm "live ', as after I had popped out to do the bins and come back in, that particular alarm went off, so had to hastily enter the code to switch it off.

A less busy day today with a visit to the local garden centre with a teaching colleague friend and her DH for lunch. We met back in 1972 teaching at a local infants school when we were both just married and in our twenties, and have remained friends ever since. Another friend from the same school and same years may be joining us. I usually ask them to come in for coffee before they go home.

Looking forward to, and wishing all, a pleasant day.

Good morning from Cloudy Chambers northwest coast.
After a quiet day yesterday with after effects of my flu jab, I’ll get going today with housework. Up and down with the cat during the night. Mind reading would help as it could be more food, go out or have a chat🙄

The carpet fitter is due this morning for the spare bedroom and that’s it.
Glad you had a good time Grandmattie, thoughts to FGT Blossoming and all🌺

Let’s see if I can post a card I painted.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s dry and cool. Alexa tells me it’s not Going to rain here and we will have a high of 13°C.

Himself was admitted to The Christie on Monday morning via an emergency ambulance. The chemotherapy floored him sadly. He needed iv fluids, iv antibiotics and a blood transfusion for concerningly low blood pressure.

He might be coming home today or tomorrow to recuperate. Try to build his strength up he is quite weak. I’ve changed over to the winter duvet, washed all the bedding and plumped up the pillows in readiness for his return. The apartment is so quiet without him and I’ve been very emotional. It’s knocked the stuffing and confidence out of my darling man. We were given news on the ward round yesterday that’s not the best but not the worst (yet) either.

Our little family are being very supportive and we take comfort from one another, hoping for better days ahead. We take our cue from Himself and try our very best to match his bravery with hope in our hearts. x

Morning all,
so sorry to read your news FGT but seems like there is a chink of light in the news you were given 🙏🏻 and a hug to you.

A bit of a grey start here, but the sun is trying to break through- when it does it’s lovely and warm still in our conservatory.

Have as good a day as you can folks. x

Morning from my bit of South Lanarkshire. Peli, your decorations are amazing and the sea beyond is a perfect backdrop.

I enjoyed The Seagull Grammaretto but I’ll have to give some thought to seating, I’m afraid my hearing is becoming more problematic so I think that although I’ll continue to go with the Theatre Group who are a lovely bunch, I’ll organise my own ticket so I’ll have the best possible position for me.

All the holidays seem to have gone well so that’s great, I hope you enjoy your’s too ginny

Wishing everyone the best day possible x

Late good morning from a dull NE.
Will do some light housework before watching some recorded programmes.
I haven't been out of the house since Friday.
DD and SIL are travelling to the UK today, looking forward to seeing them. It has been a dreadful year for DD and she needs some TLC.
Sorry to hear your DH is in hospital FGT, hopefully he will be home soon.
